Neat looking film!

What about Bridge Commander? :)
Wow, you are improving, GOG.

Of course this still counts as an indie documentary, so no dramatic change there, but at least you are slowly moving towards more interesting releases.

I don't think I have seen this one yet, so I might actually buy this (can only recall owning Trekkies and Trekkies 2, but if I own other Star Trek documentaries, my memory fails me...).

Naaaah, I'm not that much into Star Trek...
If you don't own TOS and TAS, you don't care about Star Trek that much.

There's a pretty easy way to count whether you like Star Trek or not:

TOS - every season box gives you 100 points.
TAS - season box gives you 80 points.
TNG - every season box gives you 75 points.
DS9 - every season box gives you 50 points.
VOY - every season box gives you 1 point.
ENT - every season box gives you -100 points.

If you get over 400 points, you may call yourself a Trekkie.

(For clarity's sake, I left out movies, because there's no easy way to make a scoring for those...)

Voted already for it. The problem with Star Trek games are that they are in total licensing Limbo. Activision had the publishing rights for Star Trek games we are talking about then they lost the license and today Star Trek publishing rights for new Star Trek games resides with Paramount Digital but where the rights for older games are I don't know.

For any interested trekkers/trekkies/trekkists/etc.: Twenty Sided had a series of posts last month about the various Trek series and movies, and there were some interesting discussions -- even for me, a non-fan. (Each post serves, in this case, merely as a jumping-off point for the comment threads which follow.)

So... 7 seasons of TNG, 7 seasons of DS9 and 7 seasons of Voyager net me 882 Trekkie Points :P

TOS is a strange thing. I ocassionally watch single episodes on TV, but I think more than that isn't bearable without lots of alcohol... I mean... Half of the show is "Pyjama Kirk vs. Mini-Godzilla" oO Styrofoam rocks and diving suit costumes are just too much for me... But maybe that's because I'm a child of he 80s and grew up with TNG.

Have you played FleetOps ( a Armada 2 mod), it's going standalone in v4 and it's one hell of a Star Trek game... any fan should follow it if they don't own an Armada 2 disc or play it if they do.

Add "Star Trek: 25th Anniversary (Voiced CD edition) and Judgment Rites (Again, voiced) for an extra 50 apiece. Some of the best licensed games out there.

Nice release! I own a decent selection of the movies here already. Not sure when I'll next purchase one, but I do know what it will be.

Download FleetOps, it's updated for Win8... just need the disc for installation don't even have to have Armada 2 installed at all. It's much much better than the old Armada 2 in my opinion. Graphics are very very nice also.

Well, I didn't live in the 60s either, but I love TOS and Adam West Batman too.

Actually, I guess you know already, but some of TOS prop stuff was quite literally taken from a dumpster and then tweaked into something different than the original purpose was. Some of McCoy's instruments were some futuristic salt shakers repainted and so on. I think it only adds to the charm, but I suppose your mileage will definetely vary on this issue.

Yeah, that much is true. A Final Unity wasn't bad either.
Actually Judgment Rites should probably score more points, because (IIRC) the voiced version was released only in a limited and numbered special edition box, whereas the 25th Anniversary was released as a normal CD game.

This is why I actually own the floppy version and the box version of Judgment Rites... First I could only find the floppy version, but later managed to get a limited box from eBay (although the VHS was not in the box, unfortunately, not that I ever owned a NTSC VCR, so guess it's not a real problem...).

Send me a PM if you got questions or anything, it's somewhat different than Armada 2. You can also check out screenshots on the site, if you want to see what it looks like. The only issue some people have with FleetOps is the Galaxy class is currently not in the game in it's current version, but can easily be added back in via modding or using the map editor. I know lots of people love the Galaxy class.

99% of the game is pretty much new though. ;)
