So, nobody's interested in this?
This looks cute. Glad GOG is still releasing movies.

I like a lot of movies that come from the UK. "Sean of the Dead" being one of my favorites, as well as "Hot Fuzz" and more recently "The Badadook". I'm looking forward to it. :)

the Badadook was an Aussie movie, not Pommie. Speaking from an Australian perspective, the Cornetto movies are far superior. ;)

My bad! I get my accents mixed up at times, thanks for the correction!
I watched the movie, not 100% of it (as my attention was diverted a few times from a very rambunctious granddaughter); however, I can say I liked it.

Presented as a "documentary" style film where the film-maker starts by seeking out what makes a super-hero, then playing it by ear along the way, he meets up with different superheroes who give him different words of advice.

He eventually chooses his own persona for his vision of the superhero he wants to be and then goes through the growing pains of creating it.

I really liked some of the music in this film as well.

If you're ever a person who liked reading superhero comics, ever wanted to be a superhero, want to know what it (seemingly takes) to be a superhero, you may enjoy this movie.

I started watching this with the expectation that it would be "painfully bad" --and that probably helped, because it turned out to be somewhat enjoyable.

I'm not a huge fan of "documentaries", however, there was one I saw recently, "Atari: Game Over", hit close to home (as an Atari 2600 player who also played many famous games like Adventure, Yar's Revenge, Raider's of the Lost Ark and E.T.)

If you look at this documentary from the perspective of a person trying to become and identify with their persona as a superhero, it's somewhat touching.

Cheers!
