After a few Halloween scares It’s time to venture back into the world of wonder and adventure. Check out video games that will give your whole family hours and days of fun.

Never Alone Arctic Collection (-80%) is an award-winning title that connects classic platform game with the opportunity to learn more about the fascinating land of Alaska. While playing two characters – a young girl named Nuna and her companion, white Fox – you will explore the frozen land of the north in search of the legendary eternal blizzard.

Anodyne (-90%) is an action role-playing game that pays homage to traditional Japanese titles of the 90-ties. As a character named Young, you are thrown into the mysterious void with only a mysterious voice called Sage to guide the player’s steps.

SPORE (-75%) is a strategy game created by Will Wright, a living legend among the game designers. It enables you to create your own world with its creatures, planets, and myriads of small details. Through five evolutionary stages – Cell, Creature, Tribe, Civilization and Space your created universe will grow and take its own unique shape.

Pikuniku (-40%) is a colorful adventure game that will take you to the world full of quirky characters and mind-blowing puzzles. Thanks to the cooperative mode the whole family can join forces on the journey to finish the game.

Overcooked! 2 (-30%) is an action-comedy game not only for the lovers of good cuisine. Join forces with three of your friends online to cook meals and serve them under the constant pressure of time. The layout of every kitchen is different, so the fun flowing from the multiplayer game never stops.

That’s not all. More gorgeous titles await you during our “Cuteness Overload” Midweek Sale. For example check out games like Shelter, Shelter 2, Donut County, Ghost of a Tale and Yooka-Laylee.

The Midweek sale ends on November 9th at 2 PM UTC.
Looks like I'm not into the GOG kind of cuteness. I wonder when was the last time that a promo had a zero overlap with both my library and wishlist. Which also means there must be a subsegment of gamers whom this promo made reasonably or even very happy. :)

Maybe when it's at 90% discount and/or when THQ gives it Achievements just like the Steam version has but the GOG version doesn't.

50% off for a feature-removed game is not a good deal.

DadJoke007: Having seen what happens when Spore meets The Internet, I wouldn't exactly associate it with cuteness overload.

NSFW, I guess.

And a compilation.

This is why we can't have nice things.
1st link: Funny but that guy could've done the same with a 20 second clip.

2nd link: Lol...also ET's "sister" needs blue hair and then "She" is perfect I think.

Imo achievements are flash in the pan gimmicks made to appeal to people's dopamine addictions(and the ocd of some like me/others), and not that big a deal compared to things like actual good gameplay.

Games were made for ages without them and they were just fine.

ConsulCaesar: I can second Ghost of a Tale! I finished it last weekend and it was truly an amazing experience. Hoping for a sequel. :)

BeatriceElysia: did you got it in one of my giveaways? Nonetheless, I would have repeat the giveaway, but currently short on cash. :(
I bought it during some sale last year, I think. I was looking for something a bit different and I was sold by the visuals and the focus on exploration instead of combat. The only thing left was time to play it!
Was Monster Boy removed from the sale? I had it in my cart from this morning, went to check out just now with the two new cat games, and saw it was back to regular price.

Seems so, maybe he wasn't cute enough for this sale.
(Putt-Putt is kind of adorable ... sorry)

I own Terraria, I'll probably never finish it but if you have loads of time definitely check it out, it was pretty fun for the time I played it.

Maybe a bug? Try contacting support and see what they say.

Ghost of a Tale

Both have been on my wishlist for ages... Need to complete some games from my backlog first though, which is kind of hard when Witcher addiction strikes again...

Seems like I'm one of them? Well, the promo doesn't make me happy, but I already own a surprising amount of the listed titles. :D

BeatriceElysia: Must haves:
Ghost of a Tale - check!
Ori - check!
Monster boy and the cursed kingdom - I don't believe you. ;)
(At least not if it's anything like Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap which I found cute but gameplay-wise too boring to get into. Then again, apparently Monster Boy was removed from sale anyway ...)
New sequel to Wonder boy is actually really good and tight. It's like keeping you constantly on toes.

Monster boy and the cursed kingdom
I would like to get them, but before I gamble on games which do not support my operating system the price has to be much lower.

PainOfSalvation: Terraria rarely goes on sale and for the past 4 years it hasn't been above 50% off discount, not just on GOG but Humble and Steam stores too.
Terraria was 80% off on GOG the last time about 3 and a half years ago.

It was March 2015. so 4 and a half years ago. The last 75% off discount was in December 2015. and after that the game went only 3 times on sale with 50% off discount. Only 3 times in 4 years. -.-
They have either forgetten about GOG or don't care about their customers here considering they still didn't add achievements.

Maybe they'd rather focus on game content and gameplay rather than fluff? :\
Wat wat, how can you talk about cuteness and not mention A Hat in Time?!

That has to be one of the most gosh darn cute games made this decade!!

And there's the expansions! The Nyakuza! The Seals! Oh god, the Seals... *head explodes from cuteness overload*
