January 20:

We also made a promise to bring you many more cult-classics in the future and, believe us, we did not forget.

Today, with great pride and joy, we're excited to announce Wave II of Lucasfilm games on GOG.com! Starting right now, six new Star Wars™ classics are available in our DRM-free Lucasfilm/Disney catalog. This includes three amazing titles available, for the first time in digital distribution, exclusively on GOG.com:

Star Wars™: X-Wing Alliance™ - digital distribution debut, on GOG.com!
Star Wars™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga - digital distribution debut, on GOG.com!

Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II
Star Wars™: Dark Forces
Star Wars™ Knights of the Old Republic™ II: The Sith Lords™

Just in case you missed your chance last time, you can grab three more Lucasfilm classics for the same 20% discount, until Friday, January 30, at 1:59 PM GMT!
Star Wars™ Knights of the Old Republic™
Indiana Jones® and the Fate of Atlantis™
The Secret of Monkey Island™: Special Edition

Our Lucasfilm/Disney is made that much more impressive today thanks to our team-up with ©Disney Interactive. The 6 new Star Wars™ releases, which include 3 digital premieres exclusively on GOG.com, are barely the beginning. We're not saying more right now, but we know the wait will be worth it for six great reasons - keep watching the front page and stay tuned for more exciting Lucasfilm titles releasing on GOG.com when the timer strikes zero!

high rated
i also choose to willfully misinterpret simple statements in order to complain about nothing at all

frenchlba: So, who else finds gog's stupid and wrong advertising stupid and wrong?

Apparently, some of the games have their "digital premiere", or in the french version, "Pour la 1re fois en version digitale", which means "for the first time in the digital version".

My old X-Wing vs. Tie-fighter disc is digital, so this is obviously wrong advertising by gog.
As a True Fan, I only collect games on upcycled 12" vinyl.

frenchlba: So why don't you write what you mean? The English version might be debatable, but the French version is definitely wrong advertising.
Are you for real? o.O
New old games...masses of them....are always welcome (don't forget some nice racing games!!!)
Even if i am not buying or playing them ;)
Oh, the day i am playing Maniac Mansion/Day of the Tentacle again is just a few weeks away (i hope).
Where is rebel assault. Its time for rookie one to make a comeback.
i'm sure i'm not the first one to think it up but release battlefront and shadows of the empire please!

Naev: C'mon guys ! Don't be so picky !

All of thoses releases are awesome ! All of them deserved to be on GoG, DRM-Free, and often with the support and expertise of Gog engineers (I think especially of Rogue Squadron).

The Lucasart catalog is a chest full of golden coins, will can't fill ours pockets with all of them at once !

Good things will come !
First of all I'm 1/2 Flemish but I'm also 1/2 French; my mother is from le Pas-de-Calais, je suis Charlie...

I'm not picky, during these releases I bought 7 Star Wars games (sept) and I'm glad I did but I do find it somewhat disconcerting that 2 Lucasarts games that are groundbreaking releases in their FPS and SIM genres namely Outlaws and SWOTL are not released by GOG... This is positive criticsm...
Hmmm, yet more Star Wars and nothing else. I was really hoping GOG would release one of the many LucasFilm adventure games, instead of just Star Wars games.

GOG, LucasFilm\LucasArts have some of the best adventure games going - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring those adventure games on board. You'd make a lot of people VERY happy if you did that. ( :

Thanks so much!
Now you just need to finish with the other remaining Star Wars games (Rebel Assault, Jedi Outcast & Academy, etc.).

Then, to bring proper balance to the Force, you need to get a bunch of Star Trek games (start with Starfleet Command series, please)...

architeuthis_dux: Mac users can`t be satisfied - only 2 games in both waves? :( At least there`s Indy - love Fate of Atlantis soooo much :)

animalmother2105: I read somewhere here, that GOG is in talks with Aspyr who did Mac ports of some of the SW games, so it is possible that Mac users will get more in the (I hope near) future.
They also did the Windows port of The Force Unleashed (as well as the Mac port). Would that be affected the same way as the Mac versions of titles already on GOG?
I wonder what the third wave will bring.

zaine-h: I wonder what the third wave will bring.
Is there going to be a 3rd? I mean has anything been mentioned by the boys in Blue?

I certainly hope so. Most of the point and click adventure games like Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, and the rest of the Monkey Island games are missing. Those are the ones I really want to see.

Ditto, I just don't want to get my hopes up unless we know there is something else on the horizon. I don't care when, just if.

I hope there will be a third. I'm waiting for the rest of the point and click games. I'm not as interested in the myriad of Star Wars games as I am the remaining Monkey Island games or Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle.
