cmdr_flashheart: @Carmageddon: can't find Steam store listing. This is the only mention of it I can find,
http://steamcommunity.com/games/Carmageddon_Reincarnation/announcements/detail/1838908497789710466
Yes. Should be out for everyone on the 8th.
See what I mean?
King Arthur Collection works; this and Carmageddon Max Pack to be added to the list, time permitting.

Rolodzeo: I discovered that Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden can be converted to DRM-Free by adding a 'steam_appid.txt' file in the game directory and writing the number '284710' in it. It's the same solution as Nightmares from the Deep, so I guess all games from Artifex Mundi work like this. If anyone has more games from them, I'd would be nice if you check adding the file with its app_id on it and check if that works.
It seems that the sequel of Nightmares from the Deep works with this trick too. It only needs to have a 'steam_appid.txt' file in the game directory with the number '284790' in it. If I manage to buy more games from Artifex Mundi I'll keep trying this method to get the games working DRM-Free :)

Edit: Whoops, the game I'm talking about is Nightmares from the Deep: The Siren's Call. The sequel, as I mentioned before, of Nightmares from the Deep.

Has this wiki list of DRM free Steam games on Steam wiki been cross-referenced with the original list on this thread? I haven't read through the thread in detail yet :) It provides a few neat tricks to get some games to work.

Yup, this wiki is often contributed to by GOG forums members.

I think OP is MIA, so the main post hasn't been updated in a long while.

Great thanks for letting me know :)
I scanned the last few pages from this thread an hopefully added all games to the list.

While I was at it I added some games I found to be DRM-free:
Antichamber and Sanctum 2 do work under Linux, though you need to sign up for the Linux beta for Sanctum 2 and then can only play a early beta of a demo of Sanctum 2 - no full game there yet.

These Visual Novels don't need Steam under Linux and shouldn't need it on any OS:
Sakura Spirit, Sunrider: First Arrival (it's free, yay!), Always Remember Me, fault milestone one and Heileen 1: Sail Away.

Sunrider doesn't even require Steam to be used to download as it should be available via devs website.its only on steam via the publisher of Sakura S

I know, but I like to download stuff via Steam, it's so convenient =). Though I have to settle on the direct download for the next episodes, censoring and stuff :/.
I thought Sunrider would be on Steam nevertheless because Greenlight.
actua soccer 3 is drm free on steam just tested it on windows.
Don't Starve on steam is not DRM free.

If you read this link

Klei (the publisher) tells you how to get the Humble DRM free version using the Steam CD-Keys.

Er, right, you use your STEAM key to get the installer.

edit: if it's any consolation, it's in a special list by itself, the codes section way below.

Steam is apparently experiencing a hiccup since I cannot view CD keys for any of the games that have that option. Will update when things normalize.
