What about their rights, when a father takes his daughter to the men's room when she needs to go? What about a man who goes to the ladies's room when his child needs to be changed? Newsflash: Generally speaking children don't give a flying fuck who does his business where.

If you had bothered to read instead of jumping into Social Justice conclusions, you wouldn't be confused nor presume that I was implying something I'm not.

Again, I have absolutely no issues with trans people & can we stop talking about them?

I'm talking about "adults" flashing their junk to children of the opposite sex & getting away with it. This "side effect" of this struggle is bound to happen much more often than a person feeling comfortable in a public toilet.

Why are you trying to divert attention from the real issue with such a straw man argument? There's a difference between a man accompanying his 5 year old daughter to a toilet & a grown man by himself showering in a girl's locker room.

THIS is what I meant, and it was in the original post, I'm sorry if I expected you to read something on a written medium such as a forum:

Why not? Trans and homos should adopt children, too! Stalking toilets can end up with them arrested, it is risky business, that won't do! Within the sanctuary of their house, though, with closed doors, too, they can have all sex with children they desire! Don't be a douche, pal, we have to endorse each and every one of the LGBT people's demands, then bring in the polyamorous Group's demands for social recognition and legal status, then the muslims or any other freak of choice to be able to marry underage girls as they had always done so and finally, free debauchery and depravity for every mighty w*oreson in existence! Brave new world with *freedom*, pal, what, are you still living in the dark ages? Be careful not to accuse minorities, though, even if they actually did offenses of any sort, or YOU might serve jail time, instead! As per recent laws, in some places, discrimination against "different" individuals can get you deep in serious trouble... Enjoy.

If we're in the men's room, kids are already used to the flashing-junk-at-the-urinal stuff. Because that how you piss if don't fancy a change of pants.
If the female->male transition isn't far enough along, there is nothing to flash. And they wouldn't be using the urinals but a stall. With a door.

If we're in the ladies' room, there are no urinals so there's no flashing of junk at all. Because everyone is using a stall. With a door.

So where exactly is the issue again?

Just made this addition to my earlier comment, after you already responded: On a more serious note, wouldn't it make sense for all larger public buildings to have separate bathrooms specifically for children? You know, so no adult strangers get to mess around with them, regardless of their physical or not-so-physical gender.

Makes sense to me, at least, for various reasons. Also, if a woman identifying as a man ( and looking like one ), or the other way around, simply uses a closed bathroom stall, with a door and everything, how would anyone know or care if they're in the "right" bathroom?

That would make a lot of sense - little Johnny trying to scare little Suzy with his "dead worm" is nowhere near as bad as the guy who choked the 8 year old girl or a grown man showing his junk to a little girl.

Of course, that would imply a cutoff point. After a certain age, you can't go in there unless you're accompanying a small child who can't take care of him/herself.

That would be a most satisfying solution, but as evidenced by this thread, nobody cares about children anyway.

Now, who do we write to, or who do we contact that we can propose a children's only bathroom?

I thought you quit. This forum is becoming rather inconsistent.

Practically the only consistent thing around here is that sooner or later everyone's going to go back to yelling about bathroom etiquette.

This bathroom issue is what you end up with in a society that forgot to thank the gods for clean, running water.

Whats this? A discussion about trans? Or protecting the innocent kids?
For me it looks more like protecting the rights of overreacting parents.
I don't know how it is in the USA, but seeing a naked body in a locker room
is not uncommon.
And even if....watching commercials (or TV in general) will show a kid more
sexual innuendos than that. And I don't even start with smartphones and
access to the internet.
If someone wants to hurt a child...do you think a prohibition sign will stop him/her?
And don't forget that most of *it* happens at home...and the perpetrators are
family members.

I would escort my gf's youngest son to the bathroom up till he was about 11 when out in public. He is 13 now. If he uses a bathroom, and I or his older brother don't need to, and he is gone for an unreasonable amount of time, I would then go to check on him. could something happen, yep...probably not, but it could. If it did, it would would have to be dealt with,,,that's life. It can happen to anybody, not just children. A friend of mine many years ago was in a truck-stop bathroom down South,as we were making our way down to Florida for a vacation. All the sudden he came running out and towards our car which we had just filled up with gas, yelling "Start it up, let's get the fuck outta here!" We all started laughing, and were WTF? He said " Let's go, let's go! Seriously!" We started pulling out slowly, much to his chagrin, and out of the bathroom comes this huge hillbilly with a pistol in his hand, swaggering drunkenly and looking around, lol. "That MF'er came into the bathroom while I was taking a leak and exclaimed "Hey Pretty Boy". We were laughing our asses off and just continued on our trip.

Point to the story is, when you use a public bathroom, or you are anywhere out in public, anything can happen, no matter who you are. Use common sense, and teach your kids to use common sense,and keep your fingers crossed. That's life

EXACTLY!

I'm pretty sure "fully" transitioned people have been using their bathroom of choice for quite a while, now.

I can't imagine Domino Presley walking into a men's toilet & NOT causing quite a commotion. That would've certainly been on the news.

So why is this an issue all of a sudden? I'm scared shitless that they're pushing a paedophile agenda disguised as trans tolerance.

It's the only way you can explain such forcefulness & all the people that try to veer these discussions into trans issues - to divert people's attention from the REAL problem & the REAL goal: legalization & social acceptance of paedophilia.
