darthspudius: It seems Motorhead is now climbing the sales charts. Success even in death!
avatar
Maxvorstadt: Well, that`s the dark side of the music busyness: Whenever an artist dies, the sales of him/her and the bands records will climb higher then the peak of Mount Everest. Death (Dead?) artist generate often more money than they did when they were alive. Just look at the sales of Wacko Jacko albums before and after his death.
It`s a sad thing, but maybe only the human nature. :-(
Hopefully we get to see Ace of Spades destroy that fat witch Adelle! \m/
*sigh*

RIP Lemmy.

Elmofongo: Looks like my dream of a Black Sabbatth, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Motorhead big 4 tour has been dashed across the winds :P
Funny you should mention that... I was lucky enough to see Motöhead perform on 3 separate occasions. 2003 at Irvine Meadows opening with Dio for Iron Maiden, 2008 at Glen Helen Pavilion opening with Exodus for Judas Priest and Dio - Black Sabbath (Heaven & Hell) followed by a few days later as headliners at the Anaheim House of Blues with Valient Thorr opening. I wish I had taken the time during the last 7 years to see them again...

I never thought it possible that Lemmy was able to die. Fucking 2015, what a horrible year. I'm so fucking devastated that I never had a chance to see Motörhead live.

Klumpen0815: Can we now have this movie on GoG please?

Maxvorstadt: Why not "Eat the Rich"?
Exactly, love the movie, love the song.
R.I.P. Lemmy
R.I.P.

I wasn't a big fan of his works post-Hawkwind, but he was the one who has shown that metal never lost rock n' roll in its soul, something many other metal bands forgot. So I always had much respect for him.

A sad day for metal. A sad day for rock n' roll. A sad day for music.
YOU KNOW WHAT? F**K DEATH! I'm putting together a team. We're getting him back. Who's in?
