I can say this. There is a list of known GOG scammers, on the gogwiki site. There is a list of names. There is one name, that has a list of various alt-names. One of the alt-names matches, the name of the person, who has a lot of alt names

Thanks guys - just lost three rep points in five minutes for being honest about stupid forum behavior.

It's not like I haven't spent ALL of my gaming time hosting a forum event for goglodytes over the past month but I get ostensibly named as a scammer by a cretin that can't read this thread, get a bit pissed off and now you're down repping me...

yeah, I need to get a life beyond this place. Xmas day and I am outta here for a break from the holiday idiocy.

~make that four - not that I even freaking give a good crap about rep. Pointless points like "Steam badges"... derep away! Make my day!

Hey, don't read relentless posts from peeps that spent their time trying to help you know how not to get scammed and then come here to complain without naming any names - good luck with that. ~sigh~

Please, do post names! There's no point in reporting a scammer if you don't actually... report them. Also you won't get banned from GOG unless you start spamming Indian escort services ;)

Anasto. Yes, we know him, he's scumm, he's defrauded many people around here and GOG still won't do jack shit about it :/

As Spinorial said, stop playing and post the name. If it's someone already posted then we won't doubt you. And it will be useful to know if the alt account is still being used.

Wait, a post of one of the nicest and most generous people on GOG got downvoted in this thread just because someone completely unknown claimed he got scammed by an omnious person above.

As the mother of MAHAYO and "rep is dead", I can definitively state that I really don;t care about rep at this point in my GOG career. If I did, I'd probably still be doing massive GA's and my >600 games gifted would have grown massively in the past six months. Instead I am just usually cruising the forum to chat with a few peeps, make a few new friends and rarely hosting an event because I actually enjoy the challenge.

I know that you don't care about rep, but I still can't see a "low rated" post with your name next to it. It just don't feel fair.

For real now? You were right in my opinion to be pissed since people should be really careful about what they post here regarding the nature of the thread. And honestly this all is just ridiculous and that post from before is still the same, not edited in anyway to indicate what bullshit was in there... +1 to you even if rep is not the most useful thing here.

I constantly get downreps from all sides for unpopular opinions and quite a lot from scammers and trolls (mostly realkman666 who probably got several accounts for this), but I see it as a proof of honesty and character, so nevermind.

shadowrgog: Just a reaction post but that really sucks. I always thought it was common courtesy at the very least to offer one's thanks for another's efforts to giving something regardless if they offer it for free or not. You should make it a rule in your next giveaway or something! I guess it's just one more reason people add a rep limit in giveaways to hopefully avoid the quick grabs if that was not one's intention when giving. My sympathies, sorry for experiencing that in what was suppose to be a chill and grateful event!
