anothername: Guess his humor does tick some ppl off. I like his work; I don't follow him religiously, but never regret watching it & tend to agree more often than not.

skeletonbow: I've never really watched this guy but have seen a few of the controversies he's been in such as the current one with Digital Homicide. I haven't watched him enough to know either way but IIRC this guy uses a pseudonym for his channel. My question to those more familiar with him is, does he use the pseudonym to be in-character kind of like Stephen Colbert was on The Colbert Report, or even like boogie2988 with his crazy Francis character? Or was it rather for marketability purposes and/or to dial-down his real-life name?
He does seem to heighten his persona for his videos, but I find it to be less for satire and more as a defense mechanism, i.e: "It's shit on purpose, so you can't criticize me for it."

Before I decided to actively avoid him, I do remember seeing him doing a segment or joke that didn't land, that he proceded to drive into the ground for a month, dragging it out, practically rubbing our faces on how bad it was. But now it was ironic, so if you complain about it then you just don't get it.

More like "'I'm a old fart and therefore I know better than those damn kids. NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!"
