I seem to be having some difficulty; as I said in the title, it's not working. Could somebody please provide some assistance?

For Pete's sake! Tighten the left screw by turning it LEFT not RIGHT as it is a LEFT tightening setup.Then run a piece of string around the thingrybob at the toe of it.Nearly there,now skip around the tree three times BACKWARDS as this is the important part,then throw a hammer at it and it WILL work properly.

Speaking of not working, I need a good free web browser. Firefox is getting WAAAAY too buggy. Damn thing crashes every five minutes.
