Matewis: The only rabbit I've ever played with was this one:
Not the rabbit I was expecting.

Antimateria: I remember looking turtles and seeing that

Edit: neighbor had infact just that. There was many Shredders tough. normal looking and that which prob had some armor. worst thing ever was when we all wanted to be boyfriends with that april.. Like the same thing when you play Double Dragon.. Billy prob had the girlfriend and second player was Jimmy and even in the beginning of the story.. "What I am saving your girlfriend in here what do I get?"

Matewis: I always wanted to have Shredder, but I was too young to buy it for myself, and I don't think I ever saw it in the stores anyhow. A April figurine would've been wicked as well. Apart from the 4 turtles the only other one I had was one footsoldier:
Well, skeletor did beat in my games that shredder.. I had shredder tough.. which had spinning things.. Donatello was my my fav turtle. Well in nes games it was don or raphaello with sai.

Edit: It's seems to be time to listen double dragon 2 theme today

There's Shelter 1 where you play a badger, and Shelter 2 where you play a Lynx.
The old playstation game was great number 2 on list.

I have more, shall we say, residential shenanigans in mind :) Nevertheless both Shelter games look excellent, but I halfexpect them to be a bit emotionally draining to play.
I suppose Sam (from Sam & Max) is not dog-like enough?
:-)
Does this count?
What about CallofDutyDog?
He said dogs not rats.

Matewis: Also, why aren't there more games where you play as a ?
How about being a laser-equipped lobster fighting against other crustaceans? Hell yes, [url=http://playism-games.com/game/23/neo-aquarium]Neo Aquarium.

Or maybe being a mosquito, tormenting an innocuous Japanese family? Bring it on, Mr. Mosquito.

Oh yes, and in a post-apocalyptic world where mankind has run its course and domesticated dogs roam free and rule the streets of the cities... there's Tokyo Jungle.

The Japanese actually have produced a number of these sorts of animal perspective games, I think there's quite a few more if one goes searching. I'm fairly certain I've come across quite a number of very interesting looking titles like this while browsing old used game stores in my neighborhood.

My favorite TMNT action figure when I was a kid.

A cat simulator would be nice too. One that gives you points and achievements for waking up the neighborhood at night and fighting other animals like dogs.

I played an old bbs door game in the 90s in which everyone played as dogs. Can't remember a damn thing about it though.
I looooved THIS ONE.

Specially because of the main character.
I've never played it but there's Wolf Quest.

Then there's Sleepwalker. You play as a dog in that.
