There apparetly was a patch released for Shadow Warrior 2 today but I never got it.
I even didn't know about until recently and had to verify the game in Galaxy.
I thought such things were automatic like with Steam.

It should update automatically yeah.
Galaxy just doesn't tell you if a game has been updated like Steam does, it disappears when you restart Galaxy.

Did it download a patch when you verified the game?

For the most part using Galaxy is automatic, assuming you have not disabled updates. How long did you wait from when you opened Galaxy to download the patch to verifying the game? Galaxy can take a little while to register if a patch is available, and it won't start downloading if playing a game (I think this was added in a recent patch anyway).

I had it on the whole day but no update until I verified. Galaxy is installed in it's own folder and not in Programs folder that could otherwise admin lock some features.

Hmmm might want to file a bug report then and include your logs. I disable updates by default but haven't had issues with Galaxy letting me know an update was available.

Verify/repair isn't the most reliable, sometimes it will download files again even if it already has them. Is it possible you just missed it as omega64 suggested? This should get better once GOG starts improving Galaxy notifications.

How do I submit a log? Can Galaxy do one like dxdiag?
I might have missed it yeah, but the numbers did change after I verified.

From the Beta thread:

== BUG REPORTING ==

Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

NOTE: This folder is hidden by default, must show hidden folder to access it.

Galaxy currently checks for updates once per hour so it's possible your Client haven't asked yet if the update is available (it was released about an hour or ago I believe). Still just in case feel free to upload logs as suggested above :)
