Agreed. It's kinda hard to believe that they didn't instantly include the ability to simply add any user whose name you know via the "friends" page. That's just silly even for GOG standards.

What baffles me more is the new people's urgency to add specific people, though. What for? Are they all going to play AvP 2000 and Double Dragon together?

Breja: Honestly the forum is completely FUBAR right now. It's all pointless "friend me" threads, threads about the Witcher 3 that should be in the game's forum and threads about Galaxy. I cannot for the life of me understand why GOG gives a negative amount of fucks about the forum. This really is not that comlplicated. Move the Witcher threads to the game's subforum, make a subforum for Galaxy and move all of it's shit and the "friend" shit there. Maybe instead of messing up our librarys they could have devoted some of that time to making sure the forum is usable.

The fact that they started open Beta without one boggles my mind. That's "shoot yourself in the ass with a bow" level of incompetence right there.

True. The german subforum is flooded with Witcher 3 threads...those people fail to read and to use the forum in a proper way. I mean it's not too difficult to find the Witcher 3 subforum. Maybe it's because the witcher 3 forum is in english instead of german (in case of the german threads...?)

People would still make threads in general forum, yes, which is why someone should keep an eye on things, and move the threads where they belong. Seriously, a DC comics fansite I used to run with my friends should not have a better kept forum than the world's second biggest digital distributor of games.
