In the beginning there was Hannah Montanna, who morphed into Miley Cyrus. And now? Now we have "Poppy".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbQsxWKfTSU

Quite popular with children, apparently, tho parents might be starting to ask a few questions at this point. Maybe? o.O

So what's going on, or is there "nothing to see here"?

In the beginning God created Hannah Montanna. And she was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the United States rips off Japan yet again. :P Haven't we done enough with all of horrible remakes we keep making of all of their amazing horror films?

Long live BabyMetal!

I remember the days when pop culture was insipidly benign, or seemed to be. We've come a long way, eh? o.O

Pop culture has always been shameless when it comes to "borrowing" and "recycling". The question I have here is, what's being marketed to the people that are attracted to this sort of content? Do you think Satanic imagery is meaningless and harmless? If it is, what's the point of spending money to promote it?

Someone should count all the rip-offs in this one video. Any volunteers? ;p

Hmmm... I don't think they'll be making the kids react to the video in the OP. xD
You want to be the ''next'' Star then get out and sell yourself as outrageous. They have all done it,cashed in (made millions) and gone back into their shell sooooooooooo, nothing new.
