Exactly, I like some 'old style games' for the look and they are very fun; Amid Evil was awesome and took it's own place but that doesn't hide some games who just want to use a simple old and outdated for a reason engines and cash in on the retro nostalgia craze. This doesn't look to offer anything new and looks like it was a reject from the mid 90's add to that it's expensive for what it is and the female protagonist in FPS have been done a lot already.

retro first person shooter, inspired by the classic of the 90s like Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Rise of the Triad and Wolfenstein 3D. aka simpleminded graphics trying to copy a few old old games.

This is probably the ugliest game I have seen on GOG. Low resolution is not the problem, it's how you use it. The colors are just all over the place, there is no clear artistic vision. There even seems to be bump-mapping or bright specular lighting on some of the shots, it's a complete mess.

a bit too hectic, garish for me, its hard to see enemies easily. could be some mindless fun tho
