Yes, that takes you directly to the checkout page (because that's the point of Insomnia Sales - to buy quickly) but don't worry - no transaction was started and this didn't add anything to your cart (unless I misunderstood the situation, of course), so you can just close that tab and everything will be fine.

I also clicked the picture thinking it would take me to info page about the game.... and I see many, many more here did the same. GOG should take notice for the future.

So since that did tell me nothing about the games I opened a new tab with 'games' where I could quickly look them up.

let's be optimists and say they're not trying to keep people away from the game page and rather thinking that they shouldn't make people play marksman when they're racing a number counter.
