The year 2015 has begun with a bang. First my dog goes in for emergency surgery on New Years Day and almost dies, and then today, my fiance got crushed under her car and spent the day in the ER. She has a broken back, road rash on her skull, and a lot of serious bruising and swelling. The pain is immense for her, and I feel terrible ;(

The only good things this year so far? She's still alive, and so is my dog. I couldn't ask for more. But I also just hit 800 games this week on my GOG account. To any GOG member old or new who doubts the dedication of a hardcore gamer like me, let that be your proof that I've spent a lot of time, and money, coasting through GOG's pages for years now, soaking up all I can and buying what I can afford. Games fill me with joy, and so do other gamers who love them just as much.

I want people, anyone, to post a game they want from this weekends sale. I'll pick at random and give some folks the game they want. I may pick up to 3 or more people, one game each.

I may not get back to you tonight, but by Sunday for sure. I'm home alone right now with not much to do, and being generous seems like a good idea.

All you have to do? Understand that every moment in life matters, especially with those you care about. Love your lover, or love your pets, or love your family. And when you can't have any of that, know that games can help relieve stress and make us happier :)

Tell me one thing your grateful for in life, and make it something positive and uplifting. You may just get a free game!

I'm sorry to hear that your having these terrible troubles. It is just awful having to see the ones you love in pain. I hope they have a full speedy recovery soon friend, you have my prayers:).
If being generous will help you feel better I will enter for that Space Colony HD please.

I am grateful for my son and wife. Before my wife came along the outside world was worthless to me and I was extremely reclusive about all things. Gaming was all that ever interested me but she made me want to go out and enjoy all aspects of life with her then she gave me my son. I'm thinking of when I first held him:') he got the hiccups right then for a min and it was just so dang cute. Family is important. I hope you get have yours back and in action to enjoy more of life together.

Not in for a game, just wanted to say I agree that every moment in life counts. I am a believer in telling the ones you love how much you love them, and expressing it through your actions. I am sorry the issues that have befallen you this year so far, but applaud your attitude concerning them.

Hi dude, really sorry for your troubles man, but it will all turn up alright, I'm sure of it.
I want to share with you a thing in my life that I am really grateful for. My name.

You may ask, why? It's because it means cosmos if translated, as in space. I really love space and whenever I'm feeling down or sad, I just think of the beauty of space, with all it's billions of brightly lit stars, dancing pulsars and frost covered moons lurking beyond the horizon. Also I think of the vastness of it, neverending - eternal, and it makes me realize how small and insignificant we are, and that thought makes me happy, because I feel free.

All the best to you my friend! It will all turn out ok! :D

Sorry to hear about the rough start of the new year, tho hey at least like you said your dog and girl are alive.

As for what I'm grateful for. Well to have a roof over my head, a car, a job, and still being alive basically.

JC man bad luck.. sorry about your girl.. I too had crap year so far.. found my cat dead Tuesday morning ( died of old age ).. anyways.. Stronghold Crusader would be cool.. I have the Stonghold HD already.. Thanks

I feel weird giving a +1 to a post that references a dog that almost died & a fiancee with a broken back, let alone asking the guy who posted it for a free game...but I actually do get where you're coming from and I send you & your family my sincerest wishes.

I'm grateful that my triplet daughters have never had any major health issues. They were born early (35 weeks and 1 day), but not unusually early for multiples. All three of them spent some time in the NICU, but I wanna say it was no more than 10 days before they were all able to come home. Only Lily had any noticeable issue (torticollis), but through chiropractic care & some at-home physical therapy, you'd never know it...her neck was straightened within a year. The girls just turned 5yo on December 29th and they are all amazing in their own ways. Lily is everybody's best friend, Lori is quite the artist, and Jackie has always been the athlete.

Jesus Christ, not a great way to start the year. I'm sorry to hear that - I'm glad your fiance survived that accident at least.

+1 Not in, please take care of your family and yourself. It's definitely a terrible situation but the fact that they are both alive is a lot to be grateful for. Tell her how many people from GOG are wishing her well!
