Orkhepaj: Well maybe gog should allow selling keys like steam does.
avatar
Robette: Does Steam actually allow this, or does it merely tolerate it?
https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/keys
Steam keys are meant to be a convenient tool for game developers to sell their game on other stores and at retail. Steam keys are free and can be activated by customers on Steam to grant a license to a product.

Valve provides the same free bandwidth and services to customers activating a Steam key that it provides to customers buying a license on Steam. We ask you to treat Steam customers no worse than customers buying Steam keys outside of Steam. While there is no fee to generate keys on Steam, we ask that partners use the service judiciously.
Reminder that if you haven't paused (or already bought the January Choice), you will be charged tomorrow so Pause now if you don't want this month's bundle.

I wish I would have waited pausing until now, would have given me a nice discount for Carto currently on sale at Humble Store. But I thought I might forget it, if I waited too long. If only I had known you would be there to give a heads up ... :D Thanks anyway, on behalf of all others!

LOL no problem :)

I believe you can unpause at any time to get the discount and then pause again, though it doesn't feel right to do it.

Pretty sure using the unpause immediately goes into a purchase of that months bundle

I actually tried that out once (nothing's too shabby for me ;P), and it didn't give me the discount benefits anymore without buying the bundle. Not even sure it gave me back access to the Trove.
The new Humble Choice has arrived. The available games are:

Boomerang Fu
Co-Open (Humble Original)
Endless Space 2 Deluxe Edition
Iris and the Giant
Lovecraft’s Untold Stories
Moving Out
Outward + The Soroboreans and Outward Soundtrack
Train Station Renovation
Trine 4 - The Nightmare Prince
Valfaris
Valkyria Chronicles 4 Complete Edition
Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart of the Forest
The Wild Eight

Trine 4, Valfaris and Valkyria Chronicles 4 with all its DLC? Not bad, not bad.
So the splash screen shows Endless Space 2 Definitive Edition (the upcoming package with all the DLC), but they're actually offering the Digital Deluxe Edition (which has the usual meaningless 'bonuses' but no real content).

And this isn't even the first time they've done this. Someone needs to tell them to cut that out.
I'm not a Steam user. Do these games come with access to the DRM Free copy?
Oh, Outward, finally something for me...

No, everything seems be steam only this month (apart from extras).

Oh looks like this month is pretty good 3-4 games I wanted.
This is where the personal preferences thing comes into play. Skipping this month. Outward looks promising, though.
Just got an e-mail from Humble. From this month onwards, automatic billing will occur every last Tuesday of the month, instead of every last Friday. If you wanted to pause this month and haven't done so as of yet, you have just 2 more days to do so.

It only says Control, so I assume is the standard edition. And if so, it will be the first egs key in a humble choice, iirc.
