Never been in Turkey so I can't answer properly but here in Belgium, it's close to our traditional snacks, the main difference being the type of bread and meat.

So overall, it basically goes like: half of a round bread with kebab meat (rotating on a pillar), vegetables and white sauce. Then you add stuff (like Belgian fries) if you wish so.
