I have to log in every single time I open the website now, what happened?

Its a website glitch. Hopefully GOG will fix it soon.

GOG is working on some security issues and your behaviour is normal for some people and others don´t have problems. For some IE is working, for others like myself FF.

If that helps then it suggests part of the fix required JavaScript changes which would also explain why it's random, and cross browser. Devs can't really force browsers to flush their cache and get updates. They can be quite suborn about it. That is what F5/ Ctrl + F5 does, it forces the browser to get current (usually). Things can manifest pretty creatively when JS and server code aren't in agreement about what is supposed to be happening.

Yeah,it's still playing up,not as bad as yesterday after using Control and F5.

Whew, thought this was a permanent change GOG was implementing as part of their increased user security. I tried the ctrl+F5 advice and hopefully that does the trick since it's getting a little irritating having to log in every time I open the site.

That kept happening to me too and what I did in the end to fix it was delete all of my stored GOG cookies, change my bookmark for when I visited GOG to https://www.gog.com (adding the s to the end of http://) and then close and restart Firefox and log back into GOG again. Since I've done that the website has worked OK with no more log outs. Hopefully this will help someone :)
