I'm not posting this because of my ban recently from all community discussions, though I do tend to get on the devs' handles for their shady business practices, especially with microtransactions, DLC, anything that hurts consumers. I'm very pro free market but I don't think companies should have more say than individuals.

That being said, I also feel that steam discussions ARE public places, and bans should be reserved only for harassment, and even then, there should always be an opportunity for fixing things.

What is your take on this subject? Is censorship an issue?
Steam discussions AREN'T public places, and moderators banning you or deleting your posts doesn't count as censorship.

That said, why on earth would you post in Steam Community forums (other than for help with a game)?

You say that, but the rest of your post strongly implies otherwise.

Moderation abuse is one thing, and in rare instances you can prove it, definitely should be pointed out so the jokers lose such privileges but people putting a stop to threads from turds using pseudo-intellectual rhetoric to otherwise rile up others in existing ones is not censorship (not to say you fall under that umbrella, to be clear).

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I never attack other users of the community or any moderators, I just call out developer bullshit when I see it. And they don't like that, I guess.

That's not to say the ban isn't legitimate. It totally is if your rules say you can't criticize devs or point out anti-consumerist mantra in the industry.
I am confused, you have two games, and an hour on record, registered in 2018 with no other posts, and now here is a post complaining about censorship on a totally different platform. I can see this ending well...

People coming here to whine about being banned on Steam is hardly a new thing.

"Woe, the injustice that I suffered, merely for being a total asshat! Quick, I need to find another online gaming store forum where people will assure me that indeed it is evil censorship and not me being a douche nozzle!"

I'm not even complaining about it tbh. I totally deserve it. I just feel bad about it .
The misconception that free speech applies to privately owned and run internet sites is one of my biggest pet peeves of the new millennium.

Also what's wrong with DLC in general?

Pro free market eh? Sounds like you got exactly what you wanted.

"Censorship" on the platforms of business in the interests of business is literally core to your ideology. If you're not a fan of your ideology, stop being a free-market numpty.

Shlomostein_Baggle:
Nope you are not allowed, It's exceedingly difficult to make video games, The Devs are trying their best there is nothing wrong with DLC (expansion packs)

Sounds like you were harassing a number of Devs, Stahp it - I used to make levels for doom 1 and 2 do you know how long it takes making a fun level?

took me 3 months to make 1 level, That was a rough level too not a fancy one I used DoomEd v2.17b

To make my quake 1 and 2 levels (that got lost - That made me go temporarily insane) was 6 months I was 24 when I made those using QOOLE and they were KEWL - They looked something akin to stargate atlantis maps with quake 1/2 textures used in interesting ways (I lost all those and 15 YEARS of savegames) when windows 10 pro decided it wanted to update automatically and wipe everything out (I had no time to stop it) that's another reason why I get aggressive on here and elsewhere.

I'm still mega pissed about it and I'm 37 this year - so Shlomostein_Baggle CUT IT FRIGGING OUT!
