I would like to have "HighFleet" here on GOG.com, it looks amazing and very atmospheric!
Furthermore, there are not so many games nowadays, using these gameplay mechanics.

For sure, it is more of an 'acquired taste', but many games already here are. Take, for instance, the two just recently released so-called "classic gems" from Ziggurat Interactive ("Legends of Murder Collection" & "Zombie Dinos from Planet Zeltoid") - definitely not mainstream.

I hope, GOG.com can strike a deal with the new Microprose.

It couldn't (if it even *does* have some). But there already *are* games that have some of the Steamworks DRMs on Steam, and none on GoG !
