XYCat: You know, back when I was in school I always hated those "back to school" things every store does. They usually started popping up right in the middle of the summer break, pissing off every student in existence by ruining their nice summer break days with school shit. lol :D
Well, when I was going to school, we never had such promos. Hey, the store had only two type of bread.
In communism the things were different.
Booooo - I don't want to be reminded of that back to school feeling. Even though I finished law school years ago, the agony of education remains.

Sale looks fine, I guess

Exactly this, I left school 20 years ago and it's still depressing!
Hey Gog, here's a thought for the next Back to School sale. How about releasing some classic old school games like Reader Rabbit, Jump Start Grades 1-6, Clue Finders, Treasure Galaxy!, Mixed-Up Mother Goose, and so many others that I remember playing as a kid? These would be more appropriate for a back to school sale and would open up to a new market of edutainment games on Gog. You could call it Good Old School Games or GOSG.... ehh needs some work.

That reminds me of the film Moscow on the Hudson(a performer uses a trip to the US with others to seek asylum in the US...great film)....and especially the scene where Robin Williams goes to the food store and sees all the selections.

ciemnogrodzianin: Looks like nothing special, I'm afraid. A lot of quite mediocre discounts. I wonder if this sale means there will be no other sale this September and we need to wait till Fall Sale for something better...
Well Spellforce 3 wasn't exactly a steal, but still 60% off, so I am happy about this sale

@gog: Great banner

Speaking of banner, easy to pull from source, but still (picking the JPG versions, WEBP ones also exist for all but the biggest, same name, change extension).

ciemnogrodzianin: Before updating spreadsheet by RWareHall (soon) and fixing sales page by GOG (soon™) - check the list of offers sorted by price ascending.

pkk234: I think you're gonna be right. I'll wait for the Fall huge sale.
Oh, so I'm not the only one that think like that... good to know, and here I though I'm getting old and grumpy... :S
I guess most folks are waiting for RWarehall. From a quick look on my wishlist, Ultimate Fishing Simulator is at a new low with 55% discount.
Here we go again!

Now they start before the classes are over. Just so parents can spend as much as possible as soon as possible.

Zoidberg: Also, why do I have the prices in pounds now in the browser?!

BeatriceElysia: Well known bug, put something in the basket, then remove it.
...that actually worked. :D I had no idea. Thanks love!

*gives BeatriceElysia a cookie*
Nothing from my wishlist at a price I could afford at the moment, but at least it prompted me to look at GOG's financial results. In contrast to last year, GOG was in black numbers for H1/2019, which is great. If it's thanks to killing the fair price package, I might be willing to forgive them now - even though now we obviously have unfair price packages. :)

Yup. But one more generation and nobody will believe us.

Nice.....too bad there is no actual sale page like with the other 2 sales atm, and the banner just goes to the main store page.

I also recommend you watch Moscow on the Hudson as I told him to as well...great film and it shows such things in a comedic yet not insulting light.

Hmm..I thought this is because of the number of games currently on sale - such a page does not make munch sence with 50+ titles (imho) ?
