dtgreene: I have some other ideas for April Fools Day jokes
Well, I had one idea:

1. Make an updated list in unofficially confirmed games thread.
2. Add some games like "Command & Conquer Series" with link to April's Fool gif instead of proof link.
3. Get ready to have my reputation in a few hours go lower than Tauto's. :)

But, in the end, I decided that this is a too cruel joke. :)
Ok so now I've seen it written in so many different ways, even within this thread by the OP and elsewhere.

So which is it then?!?

April Fools
April Fool's
April Fools'
April's Fool

etc.?

Why can't it be written simply as we write in Finland: aprillipäivä?
April Fools Day. The day of the year where some news may even be fake.
Check out the Uplay client if you have it .
On the internet every day is April Fool's Day...

If you're seriously asking, even the dictionaries don't agree:

Cadaver747: I would gladly buy Half-Life: The Prequel where you as Gordon Freeman are applying for a job in Black Mesa and have to pass several tests for logic, physics and math (...)
You missed his training in all kinds of weapons (including experimental ones) that made him capable of dispatching commandos, aliens, monsters and all kind of "things" with deadly precision. ;)
By the way, check WIkipedia's front page, in particular the "Did you know?" section.
Me and my neighboor in residence are having an all out prank war! :P He locked his door because he thought that would stop me! XD So I raided the recycling bin and shoved a bunch of paper and carboard under his door and in his room! >:)

Be thankful, ^_^

If I'd thought about it, I could have announced my first completed RPG Maker or Clickteam Fusion project or mentioned that the fanservice game, Deep Space Waifu, was turned into a 'Dress-Em-Up'.

Perhaps I've become too jaded to be Fooled? *shrug*

*remembers when a bunch of newspaper cartoonists drew other comic strips for their 'prank'*

Well, I could claim to have written the game known as /bin/true (find this program on any UNIX-like system, including both Linux and Mac OS; it doesn't actually do anything).

There's also a similar program called /bin/false; it works the same way, except, unlike the always successful true, false always fails.

Have fun with these two games!

By the way, another thing to try: Speedrun Cookie Clicker, using TAS timing rules (times ends on last input). In other words, if your goal is 1 million cookies (for eample), all you need to do is reach the point where you get cookies just by having the game open (this is *very early*; just get 15 cookies and buy a cursor), and then you can stop the timer because you will eventually (after 10 million seconds) reach 1 million cookies. How does this timing method sound?

KasperHviid: An offtopic, if I may? I have just released a VR app which uses "Leap Motion" tech to record your hand movement, so you can move your hands around inside VR space. The hands are recorded and pasted into a virtual canvas in real time, resulting in a pretty funky art toy:: Leap of Paint

Oh my! I actually got one download! Someone somewhere clicked the download link! With VR+LeapMotion being so niche, this is HUGE!
And today I got a SECOND download! Two persons have downloaded this thing! :-O

Tauto: Says the person who has not sweltered in 40 degrees, with 100% humidity.Says the person that complains about incorrect grammer and of course we all know what the other main gripe is.
Says the person who failed to get the joke. (Notice that I did not include a unit?)

Maybe you should try go ice skating in 20 degree weather. Where I am, that's cold enough for water to freeze; maybe it isn't where you are?
Search is failing me - or I'm failing search. What is this "Xem" you refer to?
