Insomnia returns to GOG.com.

[i]BREAKING TOO: You bought all the classics. Nice! Fresh new games are taking over both streams until all units are gone. We're getting there, so be quick!

BREAKING: Doomsday projections of an impending worldwide caffeine shortage reported, as the hyper-popular Insomnia promo returns to GOG.com. Last spotted in May of 2014, the "greatest promo ever" has since transformed into a phenomenon most accurately described as "Double Insomnia". GOG.com's best men have been unable to fully comprehend the nature of this beastly transformation so far. Preliminary research indicates, however, that its effects are relatively benign.

Welcome back, sleepless friends. Against everyone's better judgement, the hyperactive promo returns to GOG.com with twice the everything. The Double Insomnia Promo will feature more games than ever, and two simultaneous pools: Seasoned classics and Fresh new titles. If you know how this works you're probably trembling with anticipation already (or is it fear?), but if you're just joining us... well, you'll still probably make it out okay.

What's all the hullabaloo about? All sales are offered in limited quantities, and the number of copies remaining is labeled with a huge counter on the front page. There are two pools, and only one game from either pool can be on sale at one time. Once a game sells out, another will immediately take its place so that two are always available. If you missed your chance, fear not but keep your eyes open! Your favorite one will probably be back. Insomnia mercilessly goes on, day and night, until every single unit is gone - like a carousel of deals. You might even have a chance to get a free game, if you're lucky that is.

Nope.

Bummer :(
I, like many others, do not see any games showing up as "owned" anywhere on the site.. I'm using the latest version of Firefox (36.0).

I downloaded and installed Chrome for the first time on this computer. Same thing happens.

I tried IE 11 and the same thing happens.

It's funny that it's happening to some people and not others.

Please fix the site.
Its times like this I wish we had a gog wallet option :(
I think it's universal on Firefox. Chrome has been working for most users.
*begins sobbing*

I'm using Firefox, but it's an older version, 33.1. Owned tags are working fine for me.

djdarko: It would be cool if they set up the front page to cue a sound effect when the games change, so those of us who are actualy sleeping next to our computers can be alerted to check for the new games.

mvscot: Or, you could wire a screen reader up to a couple of nipple electrodes for a taste of genuine insomnia...
Oh sure, just shoehorn your own kinky bondage fetish into my GOG wakeup call. lol

Ixamyakxim: Protip - set your kitchen meat timer by your bed, and have it count down and beep every 30 - 45 minutes. Easier than constantly setting an alarm. Make sure to take into account how much your bedmate will hate you, and how much like $h!* you'll look next morning. Use the time spent sleeping on the couch the following night to figure out your gameplan for tackling when you'll play all your new games.
Not a bad idea, but sometimes the times vary wildly, I've seen great deals go within a minute, while other games like Keen take all day long.
yep owned tags don't work for me, either. fix the site gog!
I just bought Banished on Steam. I knew that, as soon as I did, it would go on sale here and here it is!

*Grumble, grumble!*

they do that. they try to squeeze sales there before the sale shows up on gog. maybe they hope you buy it twice. oh well! not to worry! you probably got it cheaper there so don't feel so bad. buy once.

Yes, I should have said that. It appears to start with only the newest one.
Definitely favours those who have nothing to do but sit around in front of a computer all day and night. Not too fair to those customers who have a job to go to.

Some of us can multitask. :)
Assuming that there is a second round at some point, I'll have to get Banished if nothing else I want shows up. :)
