Do any of you guys work for public corporate? I'm guessing they frontloaded both COE33 and TR 2/3 in Sept because end of Q3.

COE33 = Claire Obscure Expedition 33
TR 2/3 = Tomb Raider 2 and 3. By 2 and 3 I mean game 2 and 3 of the reboot series. The entire classic Tomb Raider series was already on GOG.

Oh, right :D Now I just feel dumb. I just completely forgot the full title is "Claire Obscure Expedition 33" (I know it's apparently a big thing, but I haven't even heard of it before the release here). So because I didn't recognise it I didn't think of game titles at all, and because UnashamedWeeb started his post asking about working corporate I assumed they are some corpo related terms XD

Oh well, I'm still pitching Disney that show!

Despite all the justified criticism, I also find the quiz, the discounts, and the preservations boring, I'd like to say that I'm still very satisfied. The two T. R. titles are awesome, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is just as good. Then there's "Castle of Heart: Retold," "Deadlink," "Viewfinder," and "X-Out Resurfaced."

I'd say a resounding "Good work, GOG!" :D

And besides the titles already mentioned, there's been a lot of cool stuff over the last 12 months that I haven't been able to buy yet. I don't even know if GOG is dead or some other nonsense.

- Lost in Random: The Eternal Die
- Bee Simulator: The Hive
- Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream
- Arctic Awakening
- Formula Legends
- Gloomy Eyes
- POSTAL: Brain Damaged - These Sunny Daze
- Cronos: The New Dawn
- Cat Quest III
- Hollow Knight: Silksong
- Bad Cheese
- Fida Puti Samurai
- Vlad Circus: Curse of Asmodeus
- Sengoku Dynasty
- NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound
- Primal Planet
- The Drifter
- RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business
- Gex Trilogy
- The Ages
- EVERSPACE 2 - Wrath of the Ancients
- Deliver At All Costs
- JDM: Japanese Drift Master
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
- Elroy and the Aliens
- Nikoderiko: The Magical World
- World of Goo 2
- Crow Country
- SILENT HILL 2
- Reus 2
- ASYLUM
- KARMA: The Dark World
- Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered
- Slender Threads
- Pinball Spire
- Coridden
- Dungeons 4
- The Axis Unseen
- Flint: Treasure of Oblivion
- Rogue Waters
- Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered
- The Thing: Remastered
- Caravan SandWitch
- POOLS
- Neon Blood
- Loco Motive

I, for one, am very excited about the upcoming blockbuster, and who knows, maybe it'll be a Resident Evil, a Silent Hill, a Sony title, a bundle of new Lego games, or maybe even a Microsoft title like Freelancer or the Halo Masterchief Bundle.

The main thing is that you keep up the good work, GOG. Don't let up now; I can see things looking up again. Here's a subtle hint of what else might be possible: Stray, Kena - Bridge of Spirits, The Long Dark, Signalis, High On Life, Remnant, Dead Island + Riptide, Homefront, Maneater, Teardown, ... ;-)

Let's go GOG!!! ;D

kultpcgames: I don't even know if GOG is dead or some other nonsense.
I also fail to understand why do people always "looking for chances" to claim that. Dead? OK, GOG hasn't got some popular games (Dark Souls, Nier: Automata, etc.). Doesn't it, though, already has enough for us to play and enjoy?!!

You're doing great, gog, great releases and anything concerning the preservation program highlighted during events makes perfect sense.

As for the quizz...nope, just...don't.

Nier Automata and Dark Souls are probably a little tricky because of the online component.
Whilst Automata is mostly a single player game there is a very important sequence at the end that does require access to servers, iirc.
Removing it would take away a good chunk of the gravitas and overall theme of that section.

And Dark Souls is a multiplayer game that just happens to have content that can be done solo.

So unless GOG finds a way to negotiate with Bandai and Squeenix to let them use their servers AND not have DRM, it's probably not going to happen.

Something like Bayonetta though? That should be doable, I don't think there's any critical feature that needs an online connection.

Oh, I wouldn't know, I haven't played them! I just mentioned them as popular games, which GOG hasn't got!

I played Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne and Sekiro full offline, so I don't think this statement is correct (Dark Souls 2 is closer to be a multiplayer focused game, but not at all). And the last part of Nier Automata is easily fakeable, if I understood what you meant

Ah interesting, was actually a bit disappointed to see that quiz. Now I am hopeful again for some new release. :)
