So one of those days will be a 10-year anniversary, I think.
Let's all get hyped!!!
aw man.

Ten years coming. And i still didnt really play the game I got when I joined in 2008.

For people who signed up initially we got a coupon, buy one get one free. I wanted to play SHOGO and also got Lionheart with it.
Beaten Shogo, didnt really play Lionheart.

Maybe Sept 2018 is good time to do so?

IIRC, September is when they've held any anniversary sales and other store events in some past years (on account of that being when their public beta started, I think).

Yup. It'll definitely be then since GOG wasn't officially open to the general public until September 2008.
It's milestones like these that startle me when I realize the passage of time. TEN YEARS OF GOG!!!
I have made it a mission for myself to play at least one of the gog games i bought in 2008 but where to go Fallout 1 & 2, Freespace 1 & 2, Giants, Sacrafice, Battle Chess. Where to start sigh
According to their very old news, the press beta started on July 18th:

although they announced "more games soon" on July 15th:

According to this news post, from August 4th, they planned to start the closed beta on August 1st, but gave "early access to everyone who signed up" after delaying it:

https://www.gog.com/news/spend_more_time_with_the_beta

and launched the early access beta on September 8th:

The open beta started on October 23th:

And they left beta on September 23th, 2010:

Maybe it's worth noting that some of GOG team (i.e. Venom) have reg date April 2007 :p
Remember, any "10 years of GOG" trailer that's not narrated by the Enigmatic T is, by definition, crap.
