A few more thoughts.

A Night I was considering that maybe HSL was playing the long game. He made a case against scumbuddy-bucktooth, without really meaning for him to get lynched, then it got out of his hands when RW and I crossposted and buck's wagon gained momentum. There was no way for HSL to stop it or divert it without drawing attention.

Thoughts?

One thing that goes against that theory is this:

HypersomniacLive: - As for me, I should be cleared for the rest of town since, on top of the shade in #407, I not only made the case against him but rallied for his lunch till the very end when I'd have no reason to do so as his scum-buddy on D1 with a good number of other players being up for lunch.
I just don't see scum!HSL saying "look at me, I built a case against bucktooth, so I'm Town". I could be wrong.

Anyway, we can wait and see.

dedo on the other hand, having reread his posts, I'm taking him out of my Town-corish set. There is really nothing super Towny there.

i've only just got the scum vibe from RW, i've been feeling it from joe for a while. ofc if i get a stronger sense from RW then i'll change my vote.

In the game Scum is an informal name for Mafia, so yes. Anyone whose role has mafia in the name is scum. There have been other games where people have used more "flavourful" names for the mafia roles to the point where one player outed himself as scum in his first post because he didn't understand. It was very funny, but you probably had to be there.

I think I'll make a Tshirt with "Me Baka. Watcher of Kalunga."

There are only a handful of people in the world who'll get what it means, and if they ever by chance see me wearing it, they'll think "oho. There's a GOG Mafia player"

WHEN have I been smug??

there's smug and there's the old "Well well well, Joe's mafia eh? What do you have to say for yourself JOE?? I expect you're going to want to tell us who your buddies are EH??"

which I HAVE DISCOVERED I am not-a-fan-of when I am town.

If anyone ever does it to me as mafia I will let you know how I feel about it.

no. HypersomniacLive pushed that case at Panic O'Clock, and has also been swaggering it up all Day, pushing people to come and join him in the private Town Heroes section. He has been, If He Would Not Mind Me Saying, somewhat smug. And who could blame him?
