OK. I know I may be lynched (physically) for saying this, but bear with me.

I can see a Town Trent being frustrated at the fact he knows the Mafia is outnumbered. It's mostly a gut feeling based on his previous behavior, but one I can actually foresee. For this reason alone, I'd rather not lynch him.

However, he's the leading wagon right now, so...yuck.

Heh. I see my bragging rights are very controversial for...some reason. Also to be honest, 1) bragging rights have always been more or less a "running gag" rather than a serious thing, and one exclusive to GOG Mafia, and 2) that's actually the first time I noticed that all of the people in my bragging rights were against ZFR's NL point.

The even better thing? Trent, who I named in the bragging rights, is looking Slightly Towny to me, but Lift is giving me the Scum Lift vibes. Just the confident way he plays. Unless Lift gets somehow lynched this Day, I'll want to keep a closer look at him during D2.

I'm more willing to vote Lift based on that, but not too keen on doing it either. Like someone else said, this Day doesn't have really strong candidates (did we expect anything different?), but Lift is in the lead for me. I'm letting bucktooth and Microfish off the hook even though they both voted me for what I believe aren't even slightly convincing reasons. Will vote trent before deadline ONLY if he's still in the lead, to avoid a no-lynch. This time, please don't make me sacrifice myself. ;)

I thought about it some more and I won't be backing up from Trent just to back up from Trent because the way he acts has started to make me feel bad and sorry. I've seen him lie his way out of a lynch before so there is a fair chance he's trying to do the same now. If I have to be completely honest I'm more concerned about him playing me yet again than anything else. I realize that's more of a selfish reason to want to lynch him than anything else and it's quite possible it's making me tunnel and make myself see things in a way I'd like to see them to fit my suspicions. Because of that I'm open to alternatives but unless I'm persuaded another option is better, under the current circumstances I'd rather have this resolved sooner rather than later.

My vote will stay for now.

1. I understand that bragging rights is not an actual vote, but its still providing who you read as scum.
2. I would be intrigued to know why you chose those 3 so early if their position on the NL had nothing to do with it, as the only thing that their posts discussed before your bragging rights post was the NL discussion. Granted trent had already voted for ZFR by this point, but you must have had a lot of stock in ZFR being town for "voting for ZFR = scum" to already be your train of logic.

Honestly I whas originally for NL because I thought it would bring the game forward. But now with how Trent is acting like last time I think best action would if I listen to Lift with going to vote and because my feeling is in correlation:

I am in a bind now.

My leading suspects are Micro and BTG, but I don't see much of a chance of any of those wagons going anywhere before the deadline.

The wagons that have a chance of getting to a lynch are much below in my scum-o-meter. Trent is far in the lead and I don't see that much of a reason to suspect him above others. The second wagon is Pooka whom I am thinking of ISOing, but won't be able to until the deadline. Voting him right now would be an utterly stupid use of my vote.

if only because BTG has taken the lead for me. His posts #252 and #254 haven't really convinced me that he had a reasonable Town mindset during that NL vote.

My feeling(if Trent is scum) is that he might be trying to take advantage of how suspect I look due to my playstyle to get me mislynched early.

(If Trent is scum he might also be trying to keep me from helping to get him lynched, as I accidentally did[by pushing for getting people to hammer range early] in the prior game....of course this could all be WIFOM and I could be wrong, but I have somewhat of a gut feeling that I might not be wrong this time)

Yes, voting NL was a dumb move on my part as I spent the beginning of the game against it. Even when voting for it, my only motivation for that was in the faint hope of that it happening would get people to stop making it the forefront of the discussion.

Ill eat whatever votes I get from that mistake I made, and it will be a lesson for me to not post something just to get my name on the board. Im not gonna bother defending my townhood, because you either know it to be true already(at which point you know exactly what youre doing) or there hasnt been enough time in the game for me to provide evidence to backup my claim.

Im real interested to see if this wagon for me extends beyond you two.

This might be nothing, but i'd like to point out that (iirc) Trent also did the same thing in the prior game just before he got lynched and shown to be scum.

(i.e. made that same sort of post, likely to get people to not vote for him)

I only mention this as he has said similar things before as scum, to try and dissuade people voting for him. Of course, yes....he might be town as well.

Well, there's always going for the current wagon(if we don't have enough time for everyone to re-vote for someone else that people highly suspect) and then coming back to your other choices later on(D2 and onward).

Of course, as always it's your call.

Are you just trying to get everyone to suspect the most suspicious(in general, due to my playstyle) player as i'm an easy target?

I mean why else would you seemingly try to act like i'm playing any different than I usually do?

To you(Buck) and everyone else: Why would a scum!Buck(after being informed by posts of other players in the game that a NL would help town) try to go along with a NL(either by voting NL, or "helping" to make one happen indirectly via voting for a very unlikely wagon)?

Maybe not.....as you're new to the game I don't think you'd latch onto the idea to vote for a NL this game(after ZFR said doing one this game would benefit town) to make yourself look more town....so I am now leaning you more town. Imo(if you're town as I now suspect) that's a good thing. :)

Sure, you got me. I always push for the easiest lynch, I am a weak player who doesn't know how to play any different. I mean look how often in the past I've suspected you and pushed for your lynch passed solely on you being an easy target, I should be ashamed of myself.
