I want your Deathclaw as pet!

ZFR: Bingo!

It's part of my campaign to gradually get people to stop bah-posting.
It was allowed and encouraged in my first game, then just allowed, then allowed but not encouraged.
In my next games it's going to be "allowed but discouraged", "allowed but frowned up" and finally completely prohibited.
avatar
Vitek: Boo!
See, if I ban bah posts immediately, people would protest, but this way it will work. If people protest now, I just say "Hey, it's not banned. You can still bah post but it's just no longer encouraged." At the end when I ban it completely and people complain, I'll just say "Dude, it's been discouraged for the past 3 games now. It's only a matter of time before it was banned."

Hmmm, nobody wants to accuse me of starting a wagon out of nothing.

Hmmm, nobody wants to opportunistically jump on the wagon.

Hmmm, blotunga did but then unvoted.

Hmmm, nobody wants to accuse blotunga of opportunistically making a viable 3-vote wagon then getting cold feet.

Ill have you know I've had plently a close call with super mutants by misgendering them...granted I didnt stick around to ask why they were shooting at me.

my name is vaughlte catte: I'm sure there'll be leniency for a first offence. Still, you'll have to get used to not being able to edit your mistakes. The best any of us can hope for is to follow up with an EBWOP (edit by way of post) either 10 minutes after or sooner if someone else posts in between.

Incidentally, if ever you want a bump so you can make a follow up post sooner, the done thing is to post in another thread asking for a bump in this one (usually the admin thread or the sign up thread for this game).
Yep, I was waiting out the 10 minute post merge period to avoid accidentally double editing.

I don't appreciate to be boiled as frog.

Don't be like that. I know it is just pose to appear tough.

And I intend to turn it into reality.

ZFR: Hmmm, nobody wants to accuse blotunga of opportunistically making a viable 3-vote wagon then getting cold feet.
My feet are always cold on d1.

That's because I usually just find myself randomly attaching myself to things and then changing my mind.

KInda like blindly pointing fingers....

In the next game actually I think I will take it at the next level.

I won't even look at my PM until the first night.

I mean we usually just mostly randomly lynch someone on vague feelings which most of the time turn out wrong.

Does anyone remember any D1 lynch of a scum?

blotunga: I won't even look at my PM until the first night.
I'll make sure to be there and throw insults and farts in your general direction.

blotunga: Does anyone remember any D1 lynch of a scum?
I actually do and it was none other than Lift.

bucktoothgamer: ...
Well, an intentional edit is a bit worse than an accidental merge because of posting too soon after another post. I won't modkill you or remove you from the game. But there will be a consequence. I'll PM you what it is.

Let me stress that again: DON'T EDIT YOUR POSTS FOR ANY REASON!
Don't correct spelling mistakes.
And surely don't risk a modkill over something as insignificant as a pronoun. As dedo stated: the world of Fallout isn't exactly politically correct. So no need at all to use politically correctified language.

If you need to make a correction, do it in a follow up post. Either after more than 10 minutes. Or after asking for a bump in the Admin thread and getting it.

Day 1 is the hardest day as we don’t have any info and everything is based on pure speculation.

Not looking at your PM until the first night is a bad idea as it’s not fair to whatever team you are on. Carradice tried something similar in a previous game and it didn’t go well for them.

I do remember a lynch if Adalibooks on Day 1 when he was scum, and I’m sure there’s been more that I can’t remember.

What are your thoughts on ZFR casting shade on you or do you not see it that way?

trentonlf: 1. What is DuckDuckGo? I’ve never heard of it.
It's a search engine, just like Google, but they don't track you or keep search history. They have a killer feature over Google: they have a View Image button!! And the lack of tracking of course.

"Me Baku, Watcher of Kalunga"

OK, nothing to sound the sirens or go on a vote initiative yet.

Says his scum-buddy who bussed him for it and that practically won them the game.

But yeah, fuck not reading the PM intentionally.

Well since the third vote is the "scum" vote, and everyone here claims town...

Tried reality.

Didn't like it.

It's the Cyber-life for me!

Tbh I almost thought you'd make a joke about being an emotionless robot or similar....still, the thing you went with is just as good, if not better. :)

flubbucket: Howzabout raging ambivalence??
Oh you mean one of my specialties? ;)

(No need for bump atm.....the next post will take me awhile most likely)

I remember. (Hint: blo = kal)
You weren't that game though

Gotcha. I’m not that concerned with people tracking websites I go to or my search history. It’s pretty bland JD boring stuff, lots of gaming websites and YouTube for the Most part.

I did bus Carradice pretty hard that game, good times :-)

And I agree, fuck not reading the PM intentionally.

bucktoothgamer: I would say more serious than silly as in: I didnt want to jump on the pookina bandwagon just for the self vote. Granted, I have nothing to go on more than Joe's post about having to check what team they were on. May have been a silly post, and they may have way more experience at this than me to know that they wouldnt make such a revealing post unless in jest. However, if I was to put a vote on the board with such limited amount of information their post would be the one that gives me confidence im voting for the good of the town.
A seemingly good reason for voting....thanks for the info/reply to my question.

Hopefully Op will be lenient.....that said i'd recommend being more careful in the future. :)

Btw if you need to correct a post later on, wait till you can make a new post(usually 11 minutes after your last post if no one else posted in the meantime) and put in the following or similar: EBWOP "post correction" in "post being corrected".

EBWOP=Means edit by way of post, and lets people know you're correcting a prior post with part of your new post. And the other stuff states what you are correcting and in what post.

(Also saw Catte answered the above in a later post...but eh gonna post this but anyways cuz it took me like 4 minutes to type out and I don't want to let it go to waste :))

++++++++++++

(Need a bump or two[after each post], as about to make a quick post or two, if anyone wants to oblige)
