dedoporno: I think he may have not seen even my own post.
He wrote that his vote would mean L-1, which if true means he saw your post, but not GH's (~16 minute gap between those, if I'm not completely mistaken).
The start of the Tournament is a bit slow. Most participants just walk around. A few are flying. Every now and then a spell is cast: mostly votuses (voti?). Trentonlf, who is spending his time looking for the hat in the stands, seems to be the recipient of quite a few of them.

As the seventh spell hits trent, who is at the moment poking about the top rows, he loses his balance and falls behind the stands. Dumbledore, most of the participants and several spectators rush to his aid. Trent is unconscious and his arm appears bruised. It doesn't look like he'd be able to continue the Tournament.

Dumbledore casts Monojuicio. Trent's face changes and soon everyone can see it's the Hogwarts English teacher.

"And this is why I say faculty shouldn't take part in this! Especially those who don't teach magic subjects." Dumbledore shouts. "You, you and you! Take him to Madam Pomfrey's."

trentonlf is dead. He was Professor Andrew Stockton, Ravenclaw, Vanilla Townie.

Day 1 has ended. Please stop posting now.

Night 1 will last about 48hrs, till Friday morning UTC.

Final Vote Count

trent 7 - gogtrial, blotunga, Vitek, Joe, dedo, GH, Lift
Joe 1 - Micro
gogtrial 1 - phaolo
blotunga 1 - trent

Not voting - catte, nmillar

12 players in game. Takes 7 to lynch.

gogtrial34987: Sorry, never read beyond the first book or watched the movies, so I have no idea what this means.
The one character's name is Sirius, which sounds like Serious.

It was likely Dedo's way of asking: Are you serious?

What do you think.....would a player like Lift post without checking(via refreshing the main page first) with a wagon so close to lynch?

Also same question as to Dedo and Vitek: Who are your top suspects going into N1?
avatar
gogtrial34987: It means I intend to reread your interactions from the start and test their veracity against this scenario.
I have the feeling our interactions won't support that theory of yours but knock yourself out if you have the time and energy.

GymHenson: BTW before N1: Who are your top suspects?
Obviously (is it obvious?!?) Lift. I had Joe as #2 but his recent posts have gone back to what I've come to see as his usual self so not so sure anymore. I thought phaolo might have been Lift's buddy because of that weird post of his but later on he apparently backed up on that as he had misunderstood so that was probably nothing. Something that occurred to me recently - you seem to care a whole lot of what others think about what you say and do. Like a lot. I'm not sure if you're seeking constant feedback to see how your "new" way of playing is working out but it's just a bit odd. Not necessarily scummy but odd.

You're right. He didn't reply to me at all so I thought he might have not see my post but I didn't consider his awareness of the counter.

Alternative theory - if Trent flips scum the accidentally looking hammer wasn't an accident but some WIFOM play. If Trent is Town I don't think the hammer itself would be the damning evidence Lift is scum, though (I still think he is just giving him the benefit of the doubt cause it makes no sense otherwise).
Post at Night again. I dare you! I double dare you!

Warningus GH and dedo.

Sorry for my poor play, good luck Town
When Professor Stockton is finally taken off the pitch you see Joe Sapphire lying on the ground. No one seems to recall exactly what happened. He's simply out.

"Not again." sighs Dumbledore. "Alright, let's have a look at this joker."

He casts Monojuicio and Joe's face turns into that of a third year student.

"I know this guy!" one of the spectator student shouts. "He's the one who kept claiming that the Bkokus spell will win the Tournament for us. Kept going on and on about it for days."

Joe Sapphire is dead. He was William Bird, Gryffindor, Townie Roleblocker.

Joe is quickly taken to Madam Pomfrey's too.

Day 2 has started. You may post now.

Day 2 will end next Friday evening UTC.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gogtrial.. so much for your meta reading of trent! -_-'

At least you got your D1 lynch, but..
Seriously though, with the risk of triggering LAMIST and WIFOM accusations wtf is that NK?

Too many mafia acronyms O_o

Look At Me, I'm So Town (saying stuff that implies the person saying it Town without making the actual claim) and Wine In Front Of Me (a reference to the lovely classic movie The Princess Bride - saying or doing things that someone (i.e. scum) wouldn't say or do as it's too obvious but knowing that it's too obvious and people will see it as such is a good tactic, but people know that the scum knows they know so... and so on).
And NK = night kill. :-)

Vitek: And NK = night kill. :-)
Right, thanks.

So yeah, let's talk about Trent but that NK is the second least expected one for me, personally. Did I miss something about Joe?

Well, as you (should) know, there are at least two ways to approach a NK: eliminate someone who appears dangerous to Scum for some reason. Or eliminate someone who had little interactions with others, so that one gives Town minimal information. I think Joe fits that bill, so maybe that's the reason scum chose him. And that you stress your 'surprise' so much looks a bit off! Even with you stating that you know that it's going to look LAMIST. Yes, it does.

@trent: sorry about hammering you! I was in a hurry and didn't refresh before sending. So I didn't see that GH had already voted you. Not that a Vanilla claim would have saved you, but still it was very impolite of me to rob you of your chance to claim out of carelessness.
