At the last few minutes of the…whatever it was, the Queen suddenly stirred from another one of her naps. Those last ten minutes were extremely tense for the guards, but for her, they finally had her on edge. She enjoyed every second of it. She enjoyed how the same people would first point at Ahmed, then they point at Belal, and then they point at other guards who thought they were in the clear.

The Queen almost wanted to intervene and add her voice to the mix, but she remembered, she wanted them to make the tough decisions for her. That, and she was Queen Hoda al-Shams, so her voice would automatically overpower any others.

Finally, the majority of voices has agreed on something. Belal needed to get imprisoned.

"SILENCE!" the Queen shouted, bringing the room's action to a standstill. After a whole minute of no one uttering a single word, she approached Belal. Her right hand held his right cheek, surprising half the guards who never expected a woman like her to do that. She then held both of his shoulders in a motherly way. "I'm sorry, habibi. But like I said…" she turned around, giving him her back and going silent.

"…like you said…what…?" Belal uttered weakly.

"Jail is for inept failures, too. You should have told me you're a terrible guard. Fuck you." She turned her head to the side, giving him a sly smile. "Aybak, make sure those stupid guards don't do anything funny."

"So, it shall be, your Highness." He swiftly responded.

"And as for the rest of you…toss Belal into the dungeons!"

The group of guards surrounded Belal and quickly had him held by the hands. He didn't resist his arrest. It was his fate. He messed up. Dropped the ball. He was carried down all the way to the dungeons. The dungeon guards had him take out his belongings and quickly interrogated him. They seemed certain about his allegiance.

SirMrFailRomp, A.K.A. Belal al Nawar, has been imprisoned! He was Town Compulsive Visitor.

As the group of guards learned he was not a rebel at all, they quietly climbed up in defeat. When the last of the guards he was with had left, he had hoped for one of two things. Either the Queen would release him, or the rebels would release him. Either way, it would be a while before he can think of a reunion with his wife.

Carradice: If you feel like sharing: you are familiar with this rule of no-quorum-required-for-imprisonment that Pooka is using in his game. Even if it is a personal impression, do you have any definite opinion on it? Do you think that it definitely favors any of the factions or that it is a factor that either party needs to adapt to, with pros and cons for each.
I'm strongly in favor of it. Makes games much more efficient and smooth and forces better play from everyone. I don't think it really favors one faction or another.

If SPF is Town here, then sorry I messed up with my super low level of time and effort. :(

I saw him seemingly spending too much game time joking around, some fence sitting, what looked like a bad vote on carradice, and voted... and then that claim just screamed "fake" to me

Carradice: I do not know what else I could have done to prevent it :-(

SirMrFailRomp: It's not like you had a vote or anything...

You know I was not going to vote for either of you two, nor Joe... Lift might have been the imprisoned of the day if people had helped :-(

@Vitek. Please see the response to Trent. If you think it through you will notice a certain catch-22-ness about the whole thing.
"SIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLENNNNCCCEEEEE!"

All of the guards (some of them were chit-chatting) heard the Queen's shout from her Throne, as they were slowly climbing up the Castle. Her hearing ability seems...unrivaled.

They still are not going to give mafia 2 remastered to gog users who have mafia 2 ??
"What a horrible looking place." Uttered Abd-al-atheem quietly so the Queen wouldn't hear him. Climbing up the spiral stairs leading to the dungeons was, as one would expect, harder than going downwards. Plus, some of the steps seemed to be a little…shaky. If you weren't careful, you could fall down the stairs. Quite a painful fate.

But something hit him. He didn't have the time to learn what, or who hit him, but all he had time for was to scramble so that he wouldn't fall down the stairs.

Thankfully for our tourist, he was amidst a crowd of other guards, so he wasn’t going to slide back down into the dungeon while sustaining a lot of possibly irreparable damage. Thankfully, he fell on his front rather than his back, which meant he could clutch one of the steps with his hands. Unfortunately, that's where his stream of thoughts was interrupted.

The rest of the guards quickly scrambled to hold him, with Aybak leading them on…upwards of course, to the medical quarters of the Castle, where he was put down. Thankfully, the dude IS alive, and he only sustained minor injuries that can be treated in no time. Still, it's not like he was gonna partake in the mess that was Queen Hoda's spiel about rebels and whatever. It was a good time as any to learn if Mr. Maarouf was one of the scums that wanted the Queen's head. So, all the guards investigate him.

Mohamed searched every nook and cranny of his clothes (thankfully not the undergarments) and Sagi checked with him just to be sure. They both spoke to the rest of the group.

gogtrial34987, A.K.A. Abd-al-atheem Maarouf, has been put in medical care. He was Town One-Shot Commuter.

All the group raised their voice, angry at the heartless demons who did that to Abd-al-atheem. He could've died!

"SILENCE YOU BUMBLING MORONS!" The Queen suddenly slammed the doors of the medical quarters open. Her yell was so audible, she probably caused one of the patients to have a heart attack. "You're going up, and back to the goddamn throne room. I'm not fucking finished with you twerps yet!"

…well, the rest should be obvious.

Well, I'd like to hear what results our "Cop" got first.
Bah, humbug!
Pats myself on the back. I thought Gogtrial and SPF were town and I was right. Maybe I'm getting better at this thing.

ZFR is the first in here, is it because his Mafia chat just finished? So ZFR and Trent look suspicious to me. With their jump from supposed Cop (might not be) to town SPF (was town). Also I thought Trent had a Day 1 slip, why wasn't more made of this? Because he's scum ofcourse

VOTE TRENT - get on the wagon

Ofcourse the question is why wasn't the Cop targeted? Either because he's scum or so that he looks like scum.
Torn between confirming someone and checking on less townie characters. Finally checked on Lifthrasil.

I was BLOCKED.

Now proceed as you esteem appropiate.

It has been bad to do something risky while holding a delicate role. I just thought that it was more likely not to be mafia. I never considered that I was going anything else than a vanilla townie character. It has been a blunder to Town, I admit. I would recommend you to think carefully about the issue. Do not take risks, but also do not get disheartened when you lose the cop in such a silly. It will not be your fault. Just be prepared and think forward. You will be charged with winning this game for Town.

You caught me. My Mafia day-chat just finished.

They run the Mafia Day and Night chat concurrently? Must get confusing.

Vote ZFR

(yea don't quote me it's on purpose)
OK, at this stage Carradice has either to be lynched or locked-Town. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that Mafia got a blocker and blocked a claimed Cop instead of offing him (They did that in Joe's Pokemon game, where Cop-trent was blocked instead of NKed).

We just shouldn't make it a distraction.

Personally, I'll go for the latter. Assume he's telling the truth, treat as a powerless Town and move on. Try to find the scum.
I guess gogtrial picked the wrong night to stop sniffing glue
