So, a customer is waving a gun and saying she will be firing someone. Although Cadaver says her revolver fires blanks, go figure. What might ZFR say about this? What will Liftthrasil say, eventually? What about Lonzi? She seemed decided. Will she slap Pooki and disarm her, or join her band and read a list of demands? What about Cristine? Will she protect Walkins as a human shield? My take? Normally I would not discuss powers, but, since there is a chance that you might actually be the true Vigilante, instead of a copycat imposter... *light frown here*

I would have thought that the best use of the Vig shot might have been in a LILO situation, together with a Cop mentioning the name of some scum. If you are the Vig, we are losing that.

Another great use might have been in self-defense. If getting close to a free lunch, the Vigilante might reveal the weapon and shot someone scummy, as a last resort. Thus becoming an Innocent Child. Exchanging the loss of a sure Town for a possible scum.

However, the Vigilante might legitimately want to use that one shot, before getting a NK. This seems to be the rationale behind your actions, although not everyone seems to be buying it.

I don't trust myself to live for long. You said it yourself: I started Day 1 with three votes out of thin air, for a joke that is quite literally impossible to make sense of as a real role claim, in an open setup. People kept scumreading me simply because I am not doing enough. And I have this super powerful ability in my hands (though granted I still think of it as a free "lynch this dude" card and less of a free "kill this dude and continue day" card).
