Bookwyrm - didn't like how coy he was with his reasoning. not much towny in that but nothing too damning
Lift - seem a bit similar to last game where he was scum but right now I am not feeling the same scum vibe for some reason right now
ZFR - kinda same as last game too. "They" thing gives me no reads by itself but his dragging Lift into the issue and then denying it feels off.
Vítek - posts very little and missed 2 days. dumbo town
yogs- tries too hard to pose as non-harmful townie.
mchack - not sure if I ever played with him as town. He seems cool so far but that could easily change
SPF - I... don't remember anything from him. I suppose his avatar made him invisible.
deadbot - 3 posts, 2 votes and not a single word, what am I supposed to take from it
supplement - non-entity, asked some mechanics questions and then haven't posted in last 2 days

The most interesting interaction seems to be ZFR and Lift's accusations of 1 another, initially raised by Trent. Did ZFR really slip? It's perfectly plausible that it was simply a turn of phrase and I could easily have used the same phrase. In Secret Mafia as Scum ZFR did hint at other players being Scum and did seem to panic when he was accused. So deflection could be part of his strategy if he is indeed Scum...Which I'm not saying he is...

Lift in Secret Mafia as Town was very analytical poster and he has been here too as have many others. Ofcourse he could do that to blend in. The constant use of 'We' could be trying too hard to seem town, but it could just be because he's town.

Yogs has posted quite a bit of nonsensical posts. This could be his style generally but it could be a role to make him appear harmless. He also claimed to not know which faction he is, which I initially didn't either because of Joe's Pokeman twist on the roles. But if you were Mafia and had a role you would probably know. So could this be a bluff is Yogs town without a clear role?

That aside nothing to go on. Maybe Deadbolt not posting is suspicious but he could be busy

How should I know who your third buddy is? He hasn't revealed himself yet. But if you think that your buddy d3adbolt is the perfect bus candidate, then sure. Go ahead and bus him!

Lift has accused 2 players quite early here. It is solid analysis but when playing town in secret mafia I don't remember him being quite as aggressive in his analysis. I'm not saying Lift is Mafia, I have no idea but if Mafia can get town players killed during the day and night it increases their chances. So a good mafia player would try to cause town to suspect town players.

I'm sticking with ZFR as my pick though but guys we all need to decide by tomorrow who we're picking. If a busy poster misses the vote, if we can't agree and if Mafia deliberately miss the vote we have a big problem. We need agreement.

I'm also assuming that the voting record will be public like in Secret Hitler, Joe??

Lynch voting is what you see in the thread - it's public everyone can see who voted for whom. You don't send your votes through PM like in Secret Hitler.

I see yogs is the leading wagon, and it pains me to say this since he deserves (yes DESERVES) to by lynched from last game, but I don't think he's a good lynch. I am getting a town vibe from yogs this game so far and I will not be voting him.

The person I'm most concerned about is d3adb01t. I know the rule that's not a rule is to give new players a pass on Day 1 so they don't lose interest in the game and will continue to play in further games. Well, I don't subscribe to that thought. I will vote anyone who I find to be scummy, and so far d3adb01t's play is very scummy. My vote is on ZFR right now and I am leaving it there, but if d3adb01t doesn't start participating soon and give some actual analysis I will happily lynch him.

So, FYI to the group at large: Odds are good that I'll be unavailable at deadline tomorrow, and likely unavailable for most of the time leading up to deadline.

I've got mental warnings going off in relation to Yog and Lift (independent of each other).

Newbie or not, Deadbolt's current level of participation cannot be tolerated very long (no offense meant to Deadbolt himself).

Supplement is also going to need to work a little harder. Ditto Sage.
