WinterSnowfall: I'm not saying there isn't a problem, but I checked my library and all of the games I own that you've listed above are still there, which means it's probably more of an issue with data corruption or API shenanigans than GOG's own malintent
Some of the listed incidents have been resolved, as noted in the threads themselves by staff or the OP. I wasn't accusing GOG of being malicious. The store misplacing owned items isn't something that should ever happen, especially not repeatedly.

Ice_Mage: • GOG Galaxy: goodies pack? What's that?
You made a habit out of releasing these, but they're not visible in GOG Galaxy apart from TVGHF Goodie Pack 2022.
I just noticed the site lists TVGHF, NORCO and CDPR among games, with 0 minutes of playtime, even though they have no playable content. It's all the more ridiculous since NORCO Goodie Pack doesn't even show up in GOG Galaxy (don't know about CDPR since I don't own that).

You should open a support ticket, if you haven't already. I edited the list above and asked for feedback in the release thread.

Thanks... I opened a support ticket immediately, let's see how long the response (and solution) takes.

EDIT: Took them a week to fix it but the dlc is finally back in my library!

On my today's negative note,
A new ,,invention,, of this store that excels on their hall of shame:

Emails with the subject "Games for adults"
with suggestive pictures inside
but below a lame warning...
(attachments)

It seems that ,,visionary business branch,, of theirs is not running well,
to annoy the customers with that f*cking spam email

Let me think:
-When was the last time an ebook store sent me NSFW spam emails? Never
-When was the last time a emagazine sent me NSFW spam emails? Never
-When was the last time a video streaming service sent me NSFW spam emails? Never
-Hell! When was the last time their rival Syn-Vapor** sent me NSFW spam emails? Never!

**= Despite having all the mature content filters turned off!
So, nudity & boobs dont scare me
What pisses me off is gog invading my space without my consent
A consent by the way they have never even bothered to request even for the f*cking store: Right?!

You also didn't give a consent for jump and runs or 3D games in general, did you? What about strategy games? Did you give your consent to these?

Neither the mails, the banner, nor the store page show any nudity, not even after going after the disclaimer page.
And most games need an uncensor patch to do so.

Btw, why don't you set up a email filter that puts all emails containing "adult" or "nsfw" into spam?

Hover the mouse over your icon / username --> select "Order and Settings" --> click on "Subscriptions". In here, untick "Never miss the best deals [...]".

You have now withdrawn your consent for gOg to email you their deals, if this is on then gOg have your consent. If you want to have one some types of emails, there is options for that here as well.

I haven't received that newsletter yet (latest I got was Crab Day sale), but I've gotten others with "NSFW" games in the mix, same as in the store. It's one of my complaints in the OP. I'm sure I've said it before, but they never should've added these games without first making their visibility opt-in.
It's ridiculous that we have to beg not to see this stuff. I completely agree with the sentiment in the thread title, these games are out of control. There's an endless deluge of them and it's becoming increasingly unbearable.

Thank you amok for your reply

That was my immediate & effective "solution" since yesterday
& the reason why I decided to post on this thread
"GOG, if you want to attract new customers.", you know :)
If you are interested on why its anything but a "solution" to my eyes,
I invite you to read the rest of this post where I answer to neumi5694

Not sure what logic you are applying & how relates to my complain
You might want to explain your case better

True, except the uncensor patch thing because I don't know :)
Let me repeat myself:
What pisses me off is gog invading my space with NSFW stuff without my consent

-About

neumi5694: Btw, why don't you set up a email filter that puts all emails containing "adult" or "nsfw" into spam?
Then somehow you agree with me they are sending SPAM. Nice! :)

On the other hand: SO, are you suggesting me to limit myself
on my own space to let this store to keep doing their sh*t on my inbox?
I hope you notice it & suggest something more empathic
to this fellow customer as you

But keeping your line of thought for a little more**:
Things like: gog deals never acknowledged
& the opportunity to miss important emails (not only from gog but from anyone!)
just because they have the word "adult"... Are real risks
And hell... lets be drastic: Why don't unsubscribe?
Do you notice the ramifications all those "solutions/workarounds" create?

And just as a foot note - Please dont overlook a relevant thing in jeopardy here:
Emails are not used just for receiving e-commerce deals messages,
but by a really st*pid reason alien to me or yours,
it has been "intrinsically"(?!) declared as identification online
I mention it because you might suggest another "workaround":
Provide a dumpster email address (like I do with trashy websites
where I dont own anything)
That way, I could receive there all this SPAM without any screaming, right?
Yeah... BUT what about the id part?
Would you ask me to jeopardize myself again?
This time with things like my ownership/access/payments related to this store...
Or would you suggest I fully stop purchasing here to not have anything to lose? :)

I hope this lengthy post helps you to provide a better idea
of my perspective on this situation
Can it be trivialized? Of course! But it doesnt change its importance

**=Sure, I'm playing with your exact words
"filter that puts all emails containing "adult" or "nsfw" into spam"
We both know it can be perfected to
"GOG emails only" instead of "all emails"
and
"and" instead of "or" :)
But my observations would prevail
Therefore, those are not solutions,
but workarounds in the best case scenario...

Check your spam folder then :)
Maybe your email provider has better spam rules than mine
Which I couldnt fully celebrate:
Somehow you missed information. Sure, this time it was junk,
but next time, who knows... :S

in pursuit of order & a digestible readability to the whole forum
considering the members have provided very detailed info

I'm not a legal guy by any means**. Proudly! :)

But what I was subscribed was (quoted)
"Promotions and hot deals
Sent whenever there's a promotion you wouldn't want to miss."

Or "hot" was intentionally used there to interpret as NSFW stuff?
Anyway, I'm out. And my purchasing appetite decayed

I appreciate your devil's advocate attempt :)

if all that law people play video games. My bet is they do not]

it is nothing "legal stuff" about it at all, just common sense and logic. There is nothing in there that states what the contens of those email should be, you just consented that gOg sends you emails about their deals. since nothing is sepcified, gOg just seend you emails about all deals they have, which you hanve consented to by having that box ticked.

I do not like racing games, so when gOg send me emails about racing games, i do not go on the forums and write - I DID NOT CONSENT TO GETTING EMAILS ABOUT RACING GAMES. rather I shrugh my shoulders and delete the email.

and yes, many people who study law and are barristers and lawyers also like to play games. they are just people like everyone else who have the same likes and dislikes as everyone else as well. I am not sure what you are trying to say here, but this is just silly.

Thats why I am so proud to do not make a living from the world of law
The sneaky st*píd excuses used as "arguments" exist since the first allegation happened
back in the cavemen days... coincidentially with the born of some profession!
And sorry if you dislike this very opinion of mine
And please make it double if you live from laws (Which I highly doubt, but better to play safe)
Now, the second relevant portion of explaining to you my coment:
I say I bet they dont play vgames because -to my eyes-
they never, NEVER, EVER have showed up giving some EXPERT opinion
to any discussion here where laws apply
Do that fully square your concern? I hope so

And a very last comment about your reply:
Sorry but you are banalizing the whole NSFW topic to trivial vgames genres
Nice try, but I dont bite. I fully disagree
But enough waste of time on me with something is on the past already
Sorry to finish this conversation here, but legaloid semantics discussions
are SO boring to me...
Thanks & sorry again in case my opinion affected yours negatively about the people of law
