I downloaded the Witcher 3 using GOG Galaxy. It'd been DLing at good speed for about a day when I suddenly start getting connection error messages. After a quick google sesh it seems to be the best idea to use GOGDownloader instead, which I hope will work fine.

What do I do about the 20-30GB that already downloaded though. Will it have been wiped off my machine automatically or is there somewhere Galaxy keeps its downloaded content that I have to delete to avoid cluttering my system with unwanted files?

Thanks!

You can look if the files which are not fully downloaded are still on your PC. Open Galaxy and click on the more button. Now look there Galaxy did download your files (if I remember correct you find it under "manage") and delet them if they aren't already.
