So can we have shortcuts that directly launch a game using galaxy?

I've stopped buying games from GOG.
I want DRM free games, I really do.
But I broke my ankle earlier this year and got a Steam Link and Controller and I really love them.
I love them so much that I don't buy games from Gog anymore because I want time tracking and the ability to use my steam controller and lunch my games from big picture, which I can't do with gog games without sacrificing time tracking.

Same problem here. I add the games as non-steam games, but they have no benefits. If I use GOG Galaxy options to launch the launcher first, then I can launch GOG Galaxy from Steam in the Steam Link, but when I start a game from GOG Galaxy, it doesn't display on the TV screen, even when I can hear it's running and it displays correctly on the remote PC host that's running the game in my room.

Yes you can create shortcuts to use Galaxy:

"GALAXYPATH\GalaxyClient.exe" /command=runGame /gameId=IDNUMBER /path="GAMEPATH"

The uppercase words have to be changed to the specific value. The gameid you can easily see by looking into the game folder and check for files with "goggame-IDNUMBER" in them.

Yes Sir, that one works like a charm. A big Thank You for that!
