It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Narakir: I fixed that by going to C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy and deleting the storage folder
Yes. Delete or Rename the Storage-folder in C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy does the job

Yes - this works thanks! - but installed games will be 0 - so you have to rescan the folders containing the installed GOG games.
I keep getting this same error message too after GOG Galaxy told me it needed updating. I'm worried about renaming the GOG folder because I don't want to lose my saves like grayskale suggested. Is there another solution??

petchema: Fixed it by renaming galaxy-2.0.db, and then reinstalling all games (which is relatively fast, since all files already exist).
That's my first Galaxy update, not impressed (or maybe I am).
That worked for me , but you might mention where it is:

C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage

Reinstalling is a little complicated if you have games on multiple HDs and don't remember where each one is. Just gotta check in that case.
I don't have a storage folder anywhere in my GOG Galaxy folder. Should I just reinstall?

It's not in Gog Galaxy

C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage

Are you looking in ProgramData? May be hidden.
delete galaxy.db file from C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Storage\
worked for me but i had galaxy had to research my games and some settings/preferences were gone...

theres a chance the file might be named galaxy2.0

Yep, thanks, I deleted "galaxy-2.0.db" and it ran fine. Had to click again the Connect buttons in Settings -> Integration and it connected without asking for passwords.

EDIT: Actually you might have to delete the entire "storage" folder indeed (and reconnect everything). The custom filters for different stores I had were all over the place, completely inaccurate.

Adding myself to the list with the same error.

Something clearly wrong with the lastest released based on the volume of activity on here.

After a little figuring out how to find hidden folders (I am not tech savvy lol it took me a while!) this seemed to have worked for me! Thank you! Seems like GOG Galaxy has updated with a new look, and my stuff is importing (slowly)!
Same issue happened for me here after updating Galaxy, though the workaround with the galaxy-2.0.db file did fix it again. Now I just have to find all the locations for the 80+ games I had installed...

How likely is it that they will fix this? I REALLY don't want to have to scan all of my games in again. I have so many and quite a few have special loading executables that would have to be set up again. :(
OK I'm finding now that after the ProgramData storage folder fix, that some games say they can't find the data, despite the games still being installed on my computer.

Should I just do a full uninstall and reinstall for GOG Galaxy? This update has really f*cked things up.
