Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

========================================================================================

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

BKGaming: Vista 64bit. I was thinking that... but GOG has it labeled as compatible with Vista/XP, I'll have to get the standalone to try that as Galaxy installs the latest patch by default.

Via the Microsoft's site it's listed that that error can come from messed up/missing files if it's not a system error.

Ironically Trine 2 is working fine.
The error with regard to K32* symbols not being found in kernel32.dll is typical for trying to run programs (or using DLLs) specifically built for Win7 (and newer) on a Vista or XP OS. If interested, more details can be found here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vcblog/archive/2009/08/27/windows-sdk-v7-0-v7-0a-incompatibility-workaround.aspx

Yea I've seen that too, I've looked all around with some conflicting answers... might send support a message as they should not be labeling it compatible with Vista/XP if it's not.

Yep it defiantly related to Vista, copied the same files to my Windows 10 PC and it fired right up. Good thing I got multiple PC's play on. Thanks for the help. :)
I'm trying out the forums through the Galaxy client. Is there a way to make the text larger? I tried Ctrl+mouse wheel and it didn't work, and I don't see an option for it anywhere either. I wanted to check if this is already included somewhere before I make a suggestion for it.
Trying to download Outlaws via Galaxy at the moment... Clicked "game backup&extras", then the installer - the download consistently "fails" after a minute or two. Bummer.
Can't wait for the achievement feature to come!
Keep up the good work guys!
Hi guys

Can I safely assume that if none of the games in my Library are marked as being incompatible with GOG Galaxy, then all of them should be recognised by it even if I installed them using the installers downloaded with the GOG downloader? The GOG Galaxy client is looking very promising so far but its downloading capabilities are still pretty basic and the speed is not great.. I'd appreciate any info or advice. Cheers.
Please add a pause feature to the downloads. If you are no on fibre it is a real pain with large downloads not being able to pause it for a while in order to do something else on the internet.

Maybe try going to the website and downloading with the GOG downloader? Unless the installer is incompatible with the Galaxy client, in which case I guess you have to decide if Galaxy compatibility means that much to you..

You can just exit the Galaxy client and when you reopen it the download should resume.. It is a pain though and I hope they improve it soon..

I have been having an extremely frustrating problem, ever since galaxy has come out, I've been unable to access any of my gog games. As far as I know, there are three ways to download our games, and since galaxy has come out, none of them work. I've contacted support several times, but their suggestions don't help, are redundant information from the FAQs, or in the case of the last couple messages I've sent, they have simply gone unanswered. So, in desperation I'm coming here to see if anyone can help.

I'm running windows 7, my browser is firefox, if that's relevant. My antivirus is MSE.

The first problem is with the the galaxy client. It is currently version 1.0.2.958. When I start it up, it tries to update itself, but hangs at 2.3 out of 3.0MB, and then says there was an error, but the latest version can be downloaded from gog, but the link offered is the same version I have, 1.0.2.958. When I try to install Witcher 3, (or any other game) a window pops up to accept the EULA, I accept, then is says "getting file list" and after that a quick window pops up simply saying "game not supported, and I'm sent back to my library screen. I have tried uninstalling reinstalling as administrator, nothing works.

The second problem is gog downloader. When I click on a dowloader link, the client pops up, says its initializing, then a few seconds later says "download complete" with a full progress bar, but the dowload folder is empty.

The third method is the one which always used to work for me, even when downloader started having that problem. That is downloading directly from my account page on the gog website. When I try to do so, I simply get a 404, file not found.

I pre-ordered this game months ago, it's been out for weeks now, and I have no way to access it at all. In fact, I can't access any of the hundreds of games in my gog library. I'm trying to stay patient, but it's very frustrating. Is there anyone out there who knows what's happening?
Would love to use it but for some reason I am getting the "Essential parts Missing" thing all the time now. I tried several things. Uninstall it and installing it again going to the registery and look for the line from the support page. Nothing seems to work. Even if I install it in the standard directory I get the same error. So if anyone knows other things I could try I would love to hear them.

P.S. And yes I downloaded the newest installer.

I've seen many people state on the forums they can't download stuff in China from GOG, and that appears to be where you are? Most likely your GOG downloads are being blocked.
