Downloaded the same game,a t seperate times from steam and galaxy. On steam, while playing another game it took ten minutes for an 3.5 gig download and install, with VERY minimal performance loss in the game I was playing. GoG, under the exact same conditions, took 30 minutes to download, made the game i was playing unplayable and took another 20 minutes to install, even after I quit out of the other game before the download was even done.
