adaliabooks: Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've tested the search in both Chrome and Firefox and it doesn't need to refresh between searches, the results are showing correctly. Are you still getting problems?

HypersomniacLive: My turn to apologise for the delay.

It'd appear it was a one time fluke or something, script works great!
Don't worry, it's fine :)
Glad it's working ok. Just let me know if there are any other issues.
Not strictly related to the search script, but I've made a separate script to return the GoG Downloader links to a more convenient place and thought the people following this thread might be interested.

Here's the new thread

Nice. GOG should start paying you and barefoot. You two keep fixing their forum after all!

His latest project is fixing the new account system, and the projects of others, like Barefoot_Monkey, Mr MaGog, Eli, also enhance our experience on the site overall, so there's that.

Hey adalia, would it be possible to extend your script to searching for blue entries? (like the 'bold' search, but for mod posts written in blue). That would help filtering the official statements out of all the rants in some threads.

Why would you need to?
If you just click the exclamation mark thing beside a thread title it does that already...

I suppose I could add a shortcut for doing so within threads, and I'd have to look at how searching blue posts works as I've not tested it in conjunction with the staff posts filter...

Check the attached screenshot to better understand what adaliabooks means. Clicking on that little cog lists only all bluetext posts. If it's greyed out, then there are no new bluetext posts since one last checked a thread.

There's a bug with it though - if a GOG staffer deletes their post, and it was the only one in a thread, that little cog still shows.

oops. Sorry. I actually did't know that. Embarassing for so old a forum member as I am. :-)

It's ok, I had always assumed it was common knowledge until someone mentioned it in another thread a while back and a lot of people didn't know it did that...
Otherwise I would definitely add it to the script, but since the functionality is already there (and actually works for once too) I thought I'd leave it... :)
And the combined suite of scripts is now here!
