So. Out of all of you only Bookwyrm seems to actually have understood what I was getting at (I can't say this surprises me, if the last few games have thought me anything it's that we're alike in more than name)
The important question is, how many of you misunderstood on purpose, and how many did it genuinely?

Anyway, I've got a decent read on a few people, a few who I'm confident are town and a few who I suspect are scum. I'd vote for someone from the second group, but I'd rather not show my hand too early, not before I have a bit more to go on.

But in the meantime, I think I will place a vote.
Of all the players there is one who, as usual, is evading my attempts to get any kind of read on him. flub (who I noticed has posted while I typed this) has barely posted this game, and what he has has been mostly innane. Now I know flub is a lot more intelligent then he likes to appear and I'm wary of his lack of input on anything that's been said. So for now, I think that's where I'll place my vote

Excellent choice!!!

I was more inclined to vote for bler144 for acting like such a Sussy Baby.

I realize on Day One we are all a little suss-picious of anything and anyone.

However I need to suss out suss-pect to satiate that 'tard sussdaliabooks.

As an expert on overplayed jokes, I think you kept that 'suss' theme going a bit too far. ;)
So, the lights are back on and I'm all caught up. The problem now is that I'm dead tired, so this will be brief.

1. I can understand the move to vote for flubbucket, as I've also been picking up a weird vibe from him, and that's not just to do with the brevity, or scarcity, of his posts, nor their frankly often (intentionally, I'm sure) jokey or meaningless nature. There's something about him I can't quite get my head around, and it's making me a little suspect of him.

Having said that, I don't think I can vote for him at this time. I'm always the first to suggest this, it seems (perhaps it's because I like the idea of playing this role in a game), but does anyone else think he could be a Jester?

2. HijacK: First not having a clue about Spinal Tap and now Monty Python? I think you're having us on, sir.

Also, I'm not entirely comfortable asking the question you posed, even in a yes/no format at the moment. I may be in the near future (as in, perhaps RL tomorrow), but for now I'll simply commit to mulling it over.

3. The general don't care attitude towards whom we off today was why I thought adalia was suggesting that we randomly lynch someone. While he stated nothing explicitly, I felt that he intimated it. This, coupled with the fact that he quoted and seemed to agree with me, was why I got a little defensive. I thought he was trying to use my words to push a random lynch, and would use said reasoning if he was confronted with it.

Having typed this, I realise that it's not really all that brief. Oh well.

It's entirely possible, but I would expect a Jester to do something to actively draw the lynch rather then just not engage...
flub does have a tendency for short meaningless posts, but he usually also weighs in and makes decent insights too, but he hasn't even mentioned my behaviour, or any of the other things that have gone on and been discussed. His only vaguely relevant post seems to be the one where he mentions race not being likely to indicate scuminess.
I expect more from him, and as the only player who seems to be actively trying not to contribute he seems a logical choice to vote for.

I'd had it in my mind that his contributions were more or less on par with JMich's, just different in tone. He still reads different to me than last game (when he was scum), which could certainly just mean he's changed his approach, but I'm still not sold on him.

But I found this handy script some random person created that lets you go back and pull all a persons post in one stream. Whoever that person is, he or she is fantastic! But in any case, adalia seems to be right - really just the one post that's more than a lark. So while I'm not inclined to put a vote on, I think adalia is right that flub should feel some pressure to at least bring something to the table.

Heck, even make a case for voting me that's more than "sussy baby."

Side note, but my prior post was written and then I stopped to take a phone call before posting. The mood in the room certainly shifted between when I wrote that post and when it went up ;)

Careful.

That limb you're out on might break.

For bringing up Jester.....

Well, i don't know if he killed cristi, but flub sure killed the thread. Trip south put off til morning, but nothing happening here.

Seems this group is in slightly different set of time zones than the last game.

I think most people seem to be waiting for someone else to do something, as well. Yogsloth is modding, I got killed for my efforts last game, and Adalia is already under suspicion. Who will lead us onward??

On a more serious note: I find it interesting how Flub picks a few votes, then promptly votes someone else entirely.
27 minutes, so EBWOP: "I find it interesting how Flub picks up a few votes"

As in, a few votes go his way, then he drops a vote on someone else.
