I'm new to GOG (coming from Steam), I was wondering if GOG has an app in development for Android and/or other mobile OSes? I don't see one in Play so I assume that they haven't made one yet so now I'm curious if the idea is at least being considered now and/or is in development? Anyone know?

From what I've gathered they are focusing on their core targets, namely PC games. And Android is an even tougher market than PC games, with Google utterly dominating the market. To put it into perspective, I have a completely free game with 50000+ downloads on Google Play. On amazon it's less than 1000. On itch.io it's about 1200 or so, from which about 150 Android, the rest are PC downloads. If I were to put it on steam I guess it would get over 10000. See how large monopoly-like markets kill the others?

Except for Mr Baker Street people seem to misunderstand the OP's question.
He's not asking about Android games, but a client for GOG like Steam has a client for Android.
Which I would think isn't going to happen anytime soon, or perhaps ever.
And with Galaxy being a POS I can't say I'm disappointed.

A simple app to just browse the store, buy games and check the forums etc would have been good. (Not a Galaxy for android/ios)
But looking at the state of the website/website features/Galaxy for windows (which are all in need of some pest control (bugs? got it :) )) an app for mobile devices seems not something we will see in near future.

Wouldn't mind the forum being Tapatalk compatible. Browsing the forum on a phone/tablet isn't that great.

That's my reason for it as well. Store and forum. I never really meant to ask about apps, although I guess it's cool. I prefer an application that would let me sync GOG and Galaxy activity as well
