GIVE ME DEUS EX!

Because you know you want to replay Deus Ex.

#mrjcdentoninthefresh

GMDX is an award-winning large-scale modification for the 2000 PC classic Deus Ex. GMDX addresses the many flaws of the game, polishes it to a very high standard, and adds new layers of depth that one would have hoped to see in a sequel. GMDX is executed with the strict parameter of staying true to the original design principles that define Deus Ex, and seeks to improve all aspects of design excluding the plot and soundtrack. The cumulative result is said to be the "definitive Deus Ex experience".
Already finished my playthrough of GMDX8 ;)

After my disappointment with Revision, its what i needed.

Going to play it again next week.

So many mods for these title, every time I think to myself "Now I'm gonna replay Deus Ex with that mod" I start think about my past play-through (vanilla) and how awesome it was I want to replay vanilla again :).

Btw Revision should be out too, which one is better?

So does this require any other mods like kentie's launcher, the vanilla map fixes, Deus Ex exe fix, etc.? Do I need the widescreen or ui fix mods or does the mod already take care of that?
The revision guys went to bed with square enix and steam and figuratively took a dump on the Deus Ex fans who have retail/gog/gamespy/other copies of the game. That makes revision bad. Bad enough that I won't play it.

GMDX looks interesting and I haven't heard of it before. Thanks for the heads up.

Does this make headshots, the way they are supposed to be? I thought shooting the back of neck was a bit strange, never went beyond mission 2.

Nope it has everything packaged within the installer. I did disable OTP's fix in the .ini however.
