However, like a few others, I believe the "working hyperlink" might be a bit tough for very new users, seeing how we're only allowed links at 7 rep or more (granted, if the old rules are still valid, and I remember them correctly, that's only 7 days if you make at least one post every day, and even down to 2-3 days if you're credited for the answer to a question thread as that gives5 rep), but they also might not know how to make a hyperlink (or get the URI to a specific post).

Just so that post isn't totally useless, I'll give the process of posting an hyperlink if someone really needs it: get the adress of the post you want to link by clicking on the little chain icon next to the date when it was posted, up left of the post, copy that, open a reply here, click on the chain icon in the reply window to post a link, paste your link after "url=" in the first bracket, and type whatever you want between the 2 balises to name your link.

Thank you. Then they have changed the requirements for link posting, I wonder what the exact requirements are now. Time since joined date? Post count? Still rep, though lower than when the restriction was introduced? A combination?

I joined 3 days ago, had posted something like 4 times before and had 2 Rep, so my guess is that there is no requirement anymore.

And too green because, joining 4/26, I'll have difficulties to link a post of mine dated prior to 4/22. :-)
