Obviously your Galaxy installation went wrong at some point and now is missing that msg file. Probably a solution would be to install Galaxy again and then uninstall it. But don't do that just yet, wait for other members' response, hopefully a Galaxy user, which I'm not.

Seriously, how can someone be here since 2015 and not be able to tell the difference between GOG and Galaxy?

I dunno, man. Kinda feels like it's ready for a wipe and a fresh installation.

Because I'm guessing the vast majority of people come here because of GWENT and assume GOG = Galaxy = GWENT without ever finding out otherwise because that's literally all they use the place for.

People like me who spent three years hanging out in the forum all day before he even realized the place sold games.

Forgive me, because I'm a bit tech-illiterate, but couldn't you have gotten rid of Galaxy (the client is called Galaxy, GOG is the store - that would be like saying "Valve" to refer to the Steam client) just by going to the Control Panel and deleting it from there?

Yeah, but this guy has been here since may 2015. Unless I'm mistaken Gwent didn't even enter closed beta until 2016.

...ok, you have a point.
But then, ever since Galaxy came out, there's been people who assumed GOG = Galaxy. I'm guessing they're likely used to Steam, where Steam is both the store and the client name. Look on the bright side, at least this dude isn't one of the mooks who assume GOG and GWENT are synonyms.

zeogold: GOG and GWENT are synonyms.
But GOG is an acronym for GOG's Only Gwent.

Could be one of those members that are here only for the free games. No offense to the OP if it's not the case.

I've read recently on a forum how some steam users were bragging on getting here only the free games and those from Connect.

Here's the post with the link to that forum.

This right here.Pretty sad to be honest.Cheers
what i get from this thread that the user had a badly configured system making the uninstall routine fail and then threw a fit? :D
