Magnitus: I asked Egosoft some time ago if they would please release the X games on GOG.

I usually don't feel strongly enough about most franchises to make that kind of request, but I really liked X2.

Yes, I was overjoyed when the X games made it here, it was an instabuy for me. One of the few.

My request to Egosoft was before that.

astroclay: I don't know. It took Epic's support team over a week to respond to me, and their message directly addressed my question concerning the viability of their older series. So, I'm pretty sure it was a real person that responded.

However, the answer I received was probably canned. Even so, it sure would be cool if they had really passed the information on to someone in sales :P
Did they give you a number to call. Sometimes that's an indicator that you might get taken more seriously.
