SCPM: The developers of Shiness, a French fauxnime RPG on Kickstarter, say that they will release on GOG (the game's due April 2015). The wording sounds more like that they intend to, and not that they've definitely signed anything with GOG, though.

Just found out about this yesterday and am certainly hoping they get the GOG Seal of Approval. I am, regrettably, too broke right now to donate to the campaign, but I will certainly pick up a copy if it comes here next year. Really happy that they were able to get the game funded.

According to the French website Gamekult, Devolver will release a remake of Hatoful Boyfriend, a visual novel with pigeons.

Just based on the few screens I've seen, that everyone is talking about it SO DAMN MUCH, and my only distributor being gog, this is already instabought in my mind.

Z is one of the RTS's from the 90's that I remember fondly because it was unique, there was a lot of cloning going on in the RTS market back then, but Z had an interesting system where you had to hold parts of the map and commandeer buildings and vehicles, as opposed to the usual base-building and resource harvesting.

I don't think anyone tried a similar approach until Company of Heroes many, many years later.
