Quasar is the programming guru that helped make the engine for the Turok and Noctropolis ports.

He also made the rendering engine addon to chocolate strife they used for the Veteran Edition, it was promised to come here long ago but apparently there was a technical issue with Galaxy.
I'll believe it when I see it. And when it does come, it's going to come without the original version of the game, right?

Correct. You'll still have options to make it resemble the original version as much as possible and you'll also have access to the .wad file to use with a source port but, more than likely, we won't have access to the original version powered by DOSBox.

If its anything like the steam release, yes sadly, it only came with the manual, the town map and the VE of the game the original was not included.

I don´t know, theyve been pretty shitty towards the PC community in the recent time, giving us atrocious ports or dropping the supprt for a game completely.

But yeah, staying positive is the better way of handling this. :)
Eventually we´ll get the game, or maybe we´ll even get it at the same time on gog as Steam.
