LoadedImpulse: Anyone know if there has been a word of the Commander Keen games coming to GOG?

I was just wondering since these Bethesda owned games are showing up.

Commander Keen 4 was one of the first games i have ever played.

The amount of nostalgia is too much
I wonder if we'll see the rest of the id Software library!

As far as I know Bethesda/id own Commander Keen 1-5, 6 and 7 are owned by other people.

lostwolfe: for those waiting for armello, the developer has posted into a forum here:

http://leagueofgeeks.com/forums/index.php?topic=1555.msg12876#msg12876

tl;dr: it's still coming, but "perhaps" in a month.

[this is what you get for playing around with drm, folks.]
I think it was already in the upcoming tab before, not sure though.

Legends of Eisenwald by Aterdux Entertainment will come at a non-known as of yet date.

Here's the Wishlist entry for the game (with link to the game's site).

That game looks pretty cool! 'Voted!

Treasure: Those Inkle studio games look mighty interesting, especially Sorcery! I wonder however how they'll be released here, since they seem to be mobile games (aka whether the obligatory pc port will be good or not...)
avatar
Fairfox: Sorcery! is amazing. Well, I'm talking about the book series, but the apps are also pretty darn good, if obviously a slight deviation in play.

I imagine PC conversions will be like any app conversion (see also: the Fighting Fantasy games on Steam, for example, albeit not by Inkle). In other words: basic and obviously a conversion, but functional. I'd still buy them.
I'd hoped that it would be these games that gog would release, but maybe not - and in contrary the game to be released might be a totally new game instead. Anyways, we'll see...

Huh? Not the first one? What a strange choice.
New company in Developers/Publishers: Gaming Minds Studios, responsible for Dark Star One, Patrician IV, Port Royale 3, Rise of Venice and Grand Ages: Medieval. I guess it's likely the release of P IV or PR 3, like the newer Tropico addition.

Some of the best games I've ever played. Gaming Minds is an incredible studio and their games are rich and well detailed. Port Royale 3 + x360 controllers + big screen = yummmy.

So it's like a Kalypso invasion in here?! That's amazing, love these guys. Imho they're one of the finest publishers there is. High hopes to see all their titles in here (the stunning Boulder Dash XL included :P)

No, no no not trying to be meany. I wonder if it's the same "Victor Vran" deal, heavily tied to steamworks and whatnot...

Seems like it was released one day earlier.
